Northwest masters on sunday
« on: July 26, 2006, 04:35:34 PM »
Anyone going?

Sunday 30th 7pm, MEN arena

Me any my dad are going

I know the support for the masters team is very very strong.

Plus any chance of seeing any Liverpool team thrash the mancs and blueshite is worth watching.

Just got back. Really good night. MEN was packed. Mainly kids who had no idea who any of the players were.

Liverpool Won (Of course ;)). Unbeaten in all the matches they played.

Beat City in the final 6-3.

Highlights for me include any of Jan Molby's goals and the 5 year old behind me shouting 'Get your tits out for the lads' when the cheerleaders cam out.

Will post my mobile photo's and vids tomorrow.

Think you will find it was 7-3 (Mr Pedantic strikes again)

Great performance from the guys, but Molby looks like Mr Creosote now and is ready to explode if he has a "waffer thin mint"

I stand corrected.  How could I forget the Molby lob at the end

Molby's lob was top drawer!!

In previous years when the tournament was sponsored by Slendertone - the player of the tournament was called 'body' of the tournament (I think)! Big Jan was defo the player but might have found it hard to win the 'body' of the tournament. Think the commentators said that this was the first time he'd won it!! ;D

Well done lads - lets go and win the final!! :champ

We played some really good passing stuff tonight - just like how they used to back in their prime.

Can anyone rob the ball of Molby? He uses his girth well to block his opponets getting too close - and as always his passing was spot on throughout.

Hope we win in the Finals :)
