despite both liverpool youngsters le tellec and siname-pongolle scoring in Le Havre's 2-1 win they were relegated from france's top division , surely this means that they will be arriving at liverpool this summer.

They will still eventually have to come over and need the time to settle in. Might as well make that settling in period the first half of the next season.

I'd be in favour of bringing them over now and allowing them a season to adjust to the new country / language. If they're not gonna get into the team, fine , just loan them to another English or scotish team for a year.

I don't think a year in the french 2nd division will improve them any.......might as well be in our reserves

was good enough for them to learn their trade.

Now they're relegated its better they're here, meshing their games with Welsh and Mellor and ready for the call.

Said on BBC Digital text last night that they both will be joining the club in the summer. Ged said his decision may have been different had they stayed up but now they are down he wants them at Melwood.

Very interesting concerning the murky goings on in French football and Cisse's likely departure - but the most interesting part is that if Monaco are relegated for financial improbity Le Havre will stay up - and LE Tallec and Sinama Pongolle will stay with them... $:-\$

We sign the two most highly rated French prospects in Le Tallec and Pongolle and a highly rated defender in Diarra, and they end up getting Le Havre relegated!
