This is a great idea, but I have some other items of interest that I'm not sure if you are all aware of. There is a Raffle (the good news is it won't cost you as much to be in with a chance ) on behalf of Michael's fine fund and the details are below. I will also post a list of the prizes.

I have been in touch with His office and they will be sending me all the details of the prizes..there are other shirts to be had...I should have those tonight and will post them on here then.

in the meantime I can tell you that this has been organised by a local councillor Mr Joe Anderson and the draw will be made on 1st August.

A book of tickets will cost £2 but tickets can be sold separately,
If you want to help sell tickets or just want to buy a book for yourself, Telephone
Michaels office( 0151 260 7165) and they will post them out to you but will have to charge postage ( a small price to pay )

Any stubbs of tickets sold can then be posted back to the office and the money raised can be deposited in any Lloyds Bank

This involves very little effort on our part but will mean a huge amount to the campaign.
Michaels parents are in Bulgaria now and visited him yesterday...he has lost even more weight as he is having difficulty eating the food and is reliant on what his family take over and they are having to make these visits every week.

Two of Starsailor are reds and season ticket holders,, shoudl try and get in touch see if they can come down and play. Also try Howie Payne (The Stands), not sure if he's a red, think he is cos his bro is in the zutons, but he might be willing to help. Also the pedantics (aka Gary Bandit from the bandits new band) might be willing to play. Another possible group is 'The Crescent', theyve just started up again and are writing new material, think they have a myspace, something like thecrescentuk. Hope this all comes together, I deffo try and get back home for this.

Great if they go for September 2nd. Will book a weekend off work if so. Its international weekend too which would be handy. 19th could be a little more tricky though. Also my brothers birthday 2nd September so that would be a decent present.

Might be a long shot seen as lee mavers surfaces about as much as an eclipse, but the La's are supposed to be recordning new stuff after a tour last year. Even though they are blues, it shouldnt matter though, seen as they played the Hillsborough benefit show at the Royal Court, maybe try and get em. Only problem is contacting them.

They're not all blues, John Power of The La's and then Cast is a season ticket holder in the main stand. Played in Dortmund in the square as i remember. Been known to have a post-match bevvie in The Sandon with his arl fella. He'd deffo be up for it.
Went to an Istanbul night at Anfield with that Colin Murray an John Power done a little impromptu unplugged set. Splendid!
