The podcasts (and before that the shows on xfm) were fucking brilliant. Carl was not meant to be on the shopw, just the producer but he was so fucking funny. Now i can't help but think it's becoming a little manufactured to make him even stupider than he is.

Just been searching Amazon and looking at The Office reviews. Unbelievable some people are:

MY girlfriends dad can't stand Ricky Gervais. Were visiting when extras first came on last year, and he spent the whole way through telling us all how much he hated it. Maybe if he fucking listene, he'd stand a better chance of enjoying it!

i would have said last of the summer wine/waiting for god/keeping up appearances but i can understand there being an audience for that type of comedy i'm just not it despit how utter fucking tripe i believe them to be
