Still 1000 left. This is just ridiculous, isn't it? They had 1500 hours and hours ago, and they've only got through 500. In a day.

I think this will be a lesson to Do Things Earlier, really, because 2 days notice is taking the piss, really.

Surely their initial approximation of 4,000 tickets has been well overtaken now? Seeing as the majority of us have been sorted, it does look to have gone much better than the predicted 12,000 applicants battling for 4,000 tickets.

Just got an email from the tickets office after sending in a query. She told me nothing has been processed for me yet and they will have a better idea tomorrow when they will hopefully have sold out."

Been reading this thread without posting. Just had a phone call confirming I've got a ticket though.

I sent a normal letter cos I never received the one they sent out so anyone in a similar boat keep faith.

Oh and before anyone asks, no I didn't ask how many were left, where the tickets are or whats going on at all, I was too busy thanking him!
