They BARELY survived Hogan leaving.
Austin leaving sent them into a tailspin they've yet to recover from.
Rock was always irrelevant, as long as Austin was around.

Their current champion is such a success that ratings go down when he's on. Cena leaves, house shows plummet, PPV buys also drop off. Merch takes a hit but I think would be ok. Nevertheless, two of the four pillars of pro wrestling would be hurt irreparably.

But the eras are different. When Hogan/Austin/Rock were around, wrestling was much hotter than it is now.
