Important information for fans attending matches at Anfield' -

There have been a few important updates regarding your matchday experience that are outlined below. Please read carefully before you head to Anfield.Flag and banner policyDuring Saturday's match against Everton and Thursday's fixture versus Toulouse, LFC stewards requested that a number of flags and banners from across the political and national spectrum be removed as they didn't meet the club's flag and banner policy, and the additional guidance from the Premier League.
These included flags containing direct calls to action, political statements, national flags and flags that could have caused disquiet, no matter how inoffensive they may seem.
It's important to follow the rules of the governing bodies of football and ensure that safety remains the number one priority for all supporters who come to Anfield.
The current LFC flag policy is that commercially produced flags under 2m x 1m with a small pole (less than 7mm diameter and less than 1m long) will be allowed in all areas of the stadium.
Flags and banners over 2m x 1m may be allowed into the Kop stand or visitors section providing they have an accompanying fire safety certificate and agreement has been requested by the club and given prior to the fixture taking place.
In addition to Anfield's long-standing flag policy, and following consultation with safety and security experts, it has been determined that Israeli and Palestinian flags should not be permitted to be displayed at football matches for the foreseeable future and the same approach can be applied to other displays, banners, clothing or scarves identified as pro-Israeli or pro-Palestinian or related to the current crisis.'
^ It is baffling there is no explanation from the Premier League
(or club) as to why it allows Ukraine flags to be displayed, with PL clubs and the Premier League itself displaying Ukraine flags, Ukraine wreaths, the club selling Ukraine flag merchandise in the official stores, Anfield being lit up in Ukrainian flag colours... and yet Palestine flags - are specifically not allowed. Nor why for '
Football Stands Together' for Ukraine - yet not for Palestine
(despite the Palestinian people in Gaza being subject to 'genocide'; UN description).
From at the Toulouse match on Thursday evening...
'Liverpool fan escorted out The Kop for wearing a Free Palestine Hoodie. Disgraceful from the club' - https://twitter.com/hpx_12/status/1717647794905747764 (14 second clip)
^ The fan who was "escorted out The Kop for wearing a Free Palestine Hoodie" by police and stewards at Anfield on Thursday, has posted about it, here:-
https://twitter.com/lfcrazz/status/1717874509523370126'Last night the club that I’ve adored since I was 5 has broken me, everything I thought we stood for felt like a farce so much for YNWA and freedom of speech, I travel up 3 hours every home game even when I can’t get a ticket just to be in the city for game…
At this moment of time I feel like never coming back, all I did was show solidarity to my people who have and are being killed every day for many decades now, in no way does the Palestine flag represent what Hamas did the other week neither do I commend it…
I found it really odd our fans were allowed to stand with Ukraine and bring those flags in, as well as club itself selling LFC X Ukraine merchandise in the club shop but when I held up a Palestine flag during YNWA a bunch of stewards rushed me like I had a weapon on me?…
When I was escorted out the flag was grabbed out of my hand and was told to take the hoodie off or leave the club? Police were then involved and my details and seat number was taken and was told to collect my stuff at the end of the game…
I was then taken back to my seat in that freezing weather with a t shirt on, I did have another two flags on me which I decided against getting out as the whole situation left a sour taste in my mouth I just wanted the game to be over with so I could get the coach home…
However what hurt the most was the fact not single fellow Liverpool fan tried to intervene or help me fight my case but happily watched, I asked the guy next to me if he wanted to hold the flag with me and he looked at me like I called him the most derogatory name possible?…'

'To show our continued League-wide support to the people of Ukraine, the Premier League and its clubs will demonstrate that "Football Stands Together" in all matches taking place from 24-26 February. The captains at the matches will wear armbands in Ukraine’s national colours of blue and yellow. “Football Stands Together” badges made by hand by Ukrainian children temporarily displaced by the invasion will be available for managers to wear. The same message of "Football Stands Together" will also be displayed to the fans at the stadiums via the big screens.'

As the PL and LFC are fine with the Ukraine flag being on display at Anfield - and will sell merchandise at club stores displaying the Ukraine flag - this should be okay too...?
