That's a ridiculous take on it as far as I can see. Theres no show of respect or disrespect, its just a catchy/funny way of making another song. Most football fans couldn't give a fuck where a player is from or what religion they are a part of.

Seems fine to me! Don't think the bloke said it was Liverpool fans trying to make a political statement or anything. Just used it as a positive example of successful integration which by nature should be unintentional really!
