My sympathies to all concerned, their family anf friends.

My wife and daughter are doing the 'walk for life' soon in memory of family and a family friend we have lost to this disease.

Kinell only just seen this now, can't believe it.

Macca gave me one of my most ever memorable moments following this club, sitting by myself as a young teen in the top balcony at Woodison for the 2001 derby. Got fucking abused for 90 minutes after jumping up and celebrating Heskeys opener within the first few minutes. But we all know the rest and Gary Mac will go down in history for THAT goal, I can't think of a more satisfying league derby winner ever.

Plus the 'Gary Macca' is still one of my favourites on Happy AL's to this day. Hope it gets an airing within the ground tomorrow.

My mother in law also lost the fight to breast cancer when my wife was only 10. My deepest condolences go out to Gary Mac and his son. I hope God watches over them and helps thru their hardship. Gary will always be a Liverpool legend to me, no matter what he goes on to in the future.

This is sad news that has not got my day off to the best of starts. Funny how Gary's penalty against Barca and the goal against Alaves are springing to mind. My thoughts are with everyone concerned at this tragic time.
