Nope. Went a few years ago and have some of the early albums. But they are just a big bloated rock 'n' roll cliche now and I just wouldn't enjoy it. And Ulrich must be the most loathed man in the business.

Anyway, I'm too old to stand among the metallers now, and too conscious to sit at a Metallica show.

Enjoy it.
Ronnie

Metallica are fucking class.............had a few dodgy moments in the studio - but live they are the dogs bollocks.

Seen them a good few times and the last time was in Dublin at the RDS, 2 years ago in the summer. :)
I clutch the wire fence until my fingers bleed,
A wound that will not heal, a heart that cannot feel.
Hoping that the horror will recede,
Hoping that tomorrow we'll all be freed.........JUSTICE.

Was at that as well

And that.

Already seen them touring this album though, and will wait until the next album tour to catch them again.

That said, the RDS show 2 years ago was the best I've seen them since Burton was in the band. Really a class, tight, powerful live act.

I'm planning to see them at Download this year. They're my favourite band and wouldn't miss it for the world.

I should think they'll only play 2 or so songs from St. Anger, Fuel and maybe one or two others from the load/reload era, then it's nothing but the good old stuff from there on in ;D
