It's gone how most of us expected judging by the form of both teams going into this game. Yet again our weakness at the back has been exposed time and time again. Something's got to give, the easy goals we give from set pieces or just slack play is killing us. We're up against a far superior team a few levels above us at the moment, we're lacking a few world class players that'd have us competing tonight. Let's hope we can put in a good 2nd half display and save some face.

Other than the defending, We have been playing pretty well.  Sterling lively, coutinho got his mojo back and balo has been round and about with the cutback to allen.

What's the point of playing with a high pressing intensity if you can't maintain it for more than 20 minutes, and then spend the next 25 chasing shadows. Don't get me wrong, I was proud of the way we started, but the way we just looked like we ran out of gas half way through was terrible.

And that's before we talk about the pub team defending for the 2nd and 3rd.

Sterling literally the only bright spot. Depressing really.

My thoughts exactly about the pressing and once we became knackered after just twenty minutes of pressing we became very naive with the way we continued to play, how were we knackered after TWENTY MINUTES!?

First 20 minutes was perfect and then we backed off them for 15 minutes and they cut us to shreds - so clinical.

Encouraging signs towards the end of the first half, and if Coutinho's shot goes in, its a different game.

Balotelli, Sterling, and Coutinho are linking up well, but they need to get back much more quickly when Real attack - they are leaving our midfield outnumbered every time.

Overall there isn't much in it. The 2nd and third goals were poor and show our frailty in defence. Sterling is our best player. The Coutinho shot deserved a goal. If we could defend then we would still be in this game but unfortunately our defence is just shocking.

Regardless of our defensive frailties. Real have been class. Aside from a very brief bit of energy from us in the first 10 mins, Real have completely controlled the match. Toyed with us.
