He didn't want to leave I thought? Read some rumour he was crying when they sold him (in case it isn't obvious though, that was a rumour!!).

He's certainly playing that way, was completely out of his depth again when he come on.

It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

I said yesterday West Brom would get something, even after the result Tuesday night Arsenal's run had to end sometime and West Brom away was exactly the type of place to end it. Did not see Spurs losing and if you say you did, well you're a big fat liar pants.

For all the abuse Mourinho and Chelsea are getting they're only 2 points off the top after playing United, Everton and Spurs all away from home

Yacob and Mulumbu alongside schneiderlin and Wanyama is the best midfield from any lesser side,  those midfields are better then Utd's.

They already know to ignore the table in October.

True.  But didn't Brendan say yesterday that he thought that the Palace goal could come back to haunt us?

I know it's only early October but psychologically, being on top for the next 2 weeks could have benefitted us a bit.

I'm probably making too much of it but that extra goal differencial yesterday would have made an immediate, albeit small difference.

the league's gonna be tight this year. GD may be important.
United used to win titles on easy street, time for us to take over that real estate

Yep and somehow it always feels worse going into an international break when we lose. So it's a particularly nice feeling to have won and have three of our rivals drop points, particularly today, in games in which they would have been targeting three points.
We have to change from doubter to believer. Now.

arsenal tying at west brom is the esult you should expect and 3 points would have been impressive. Spurs however... well that helps :P

Still think Chelsea are favorites though. You just know they're gonna go on a 10-game unbeaten run and open up a lead. Their bench strength is insane

Poor centre-half display there by both Vertonghen and Dawson (actually, he was utter sh!t). But Morrison was good.

Agree about Arsenal and Chelsea. Sunderland should have been 2 up but I can't say any team deserves anything from a game if they perform like Sunderland in that second half.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Decent enough weekend this! We're level on top for points, solid start by us and we were without Suarez for a chunk of games. Can't wait till Coutinho comes back into the fold. We currently seem to have the best strikers in the league (on form) in our side. Keep them fit and firing, get Coutinho in the mix and lets stay a part of the fucking conversation this year. None of those fucking 10 point gaps to 4th, none of that shit anymore. Lets be right in the mix come January, not fuck about, buy a top winger and shove a giant 20 foot dildo up Moyes's ass and beat United to 4th. Winning!
