What was the words for the rehashed Torres song? Also I don't see why we also don't use what we sang for Agger, it's simple.

na na na na

To the tune of Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen

There was a man that chelsea sold
Now when he plays he scores a goal
And we now care for Daniel yes we do
Whens he's on the pitch
He always scores
Does the dance
And we want more
Our gifted number 15 that's our sturridge
Daniel Sturridge
Daniel Sturridge
Daniel Sturridge

To the tune of Humpty Dumpty;

Daniel Sturridge playing football,
Twists and turns then has a great fall,
Not even faith healers or medical men,
Could stop poor Studge being injured again.

Sturridge is a tampon

Hopefully the new injury rumour is a just a rumour.

This man needs a song and to feel the love. Never suggested a song for a player before as simply never had any ideas, but here goes.... to the tune of Farmer Bill's Cowman by The Wurzels

He gets the ball
He scores a goal
He does the dance, Daniel Sturridge

and repeat....with a few la, la la,las thrown in

My Way:

And now, a hamstring tear
And so I face the final curtain
My friend, I'll say it clear
The date of my return's uncertain
I've had a muscle pull
I've hurt my thumb, and had a thigh strain
And so, coz of all this, I never can play

Chilblains, I've had a few
I've had a knee hyper-extension
I did what I had to do, saw physios without exemption
I planned each treatment course, each hobbled step along the byway
And so, coz of all this, I never can play

Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew
When Brendan called, said "how are you?"
But through it all, when there was doubt
I took my pills, and took time out
I milked it all, never played football, and did it my way

I've blubbed, I've sobbed and cried
I've had my ills, my share of bruising
And now, as tears subside, I find it all so amusing
To think, I earn all that
And may I say, more than Steve Highway
Oh, no, oh, no, not me, please don't make me play

For what is a man, what has he got?
If not a twinge, then he has naught
To share the pains he truly feels-don't touch me there, I'll only squeal
My record's gash, I took the cash, but never did play

[instrumental]

Please, don't make me play

Oh his name is Daniel Sturridge
He scores goals for the team
When he plays, he scores, he does his dance
We love him he's our goal machine

Time to resurrect the Pascoe song. Waste of a boss tune otherwise.

To the tune of "Lets Dance" by Bowie.

ahhhhhh ahhhhhhh ahhhhhhh ahhhhhhh

Sturr-idge
Puts on a red shirt and scores the goals

Sturr-idge
He knows that he'll never walk alone

Sturr-idge
he left the scum and he left the mancs

Sturr-idge
Runs to the kop and he does the dance

Yes he can run
He'll run past you
Because his silky skills
Will break your defence in two
He scores a goal
The kop goes wild
Its Danny Studge again!

Musical Youth originated in Birmingham and Sturridge was born there.  Also, the reggae sound relates to Sturridge's Jamaican background.

The away fans generally decide what gets going and what doesn't and for some reason a Sturridge song just hasn't been high up on the agenda, even back when he was playing week in week out.

Don't buy the "his name doesn't rhyme with anything" crap. Plenty of songs suggested where it doesn't need to be.
