Fearless when he came on, always looking for the ball and looking to impose himself on the game
Didn't look out of place at all
Glad he has taken his chance

I missed the last half hour of the Fulham game so I didn't get to see him live, hope he comes on again.
Then in the midddle out pops a smiling glen johnson pulling up his jersey to reveal a t-shirt of suarez with a text saying. "OUR SUAREZ IS A FRIEND TO ALL COLOURS!"

He played the last half hour for Brighton today as they fell 1-0 to Birmingham City.

It's all very doom and gloom on the Brighton forum about their squad and performances including today but there seems to be a consensus that his cameo was the only bright spot, that he was bright and always looked to get on the ball and create something but was let down by the overall level around him.

A good sign, perhaps he will start against Leeds on Tuesday.

Joao Teixeira showed more intent and desire to win in his 25 minutes on the pitch than any other Albion did all game.

Very impressed with Teixeira. He is quick, has a good touch, and is very gifted technically. We lacked his urgency in the midfield all game.

Robinson and Stewart would be two nice for Brighton. Think they are pretty weak at fullback and those two would be top Championship players I reckon.

Think from reading the match report he a) played well and b) is playing in the 'number 10' role floating behind Mackail-Smith.

Anyone got a .gif or similar for his goal, sounds like it was a peach?

We should send more player down to Sami!

Got a double interest on him doing well considering Sami is the one who brought him there. Wouldn't mind loaning you another player if there's any you fancy  :D

2 goals (both winners) in 1.5 games. Not bad.

He needs games more than anything after his injury troubles, and he'll get significantly more games playing twice a week in the Championship than he would have spending half his time on someones bench.

Yep, tend to agree with that and if he rips it up and scores 15 goals from number 10, if nothing else we will have a very saleable asset.

True enough
But feel he is a level above the championship
But it could be a better option ?

Unless he would have got regular games in Spain ?
Or a lower PL club ?

The Championship is fine for him to be honest. Certainly better he's going to be getting loads of games rather than spending a fair bit of time on the bench. Plus if we're looking to raise his value a few months ripping up the Championship will do that quite quickly.

Couldn't get a game ahead of Moses or Aspas last season, including the last few games. We can't rate him too highly.

Texiera did make an impact in his one game for us last season. He is very sellable considering Lallana, Coutinho and Sterling arguably play their best football in his position. Same with Suso unfortunately, it's tough being a no.10.

I think Teixeira, Suso and Alberto are essentially competing for that last midfield spot NEXT season. Suso has the best chance to impress as he is apparently staying with LFC this season, but if one of the other two progress substantially on loan Suso might be replaced 12 months from now. Keep one, sell the other two. Great "problem" to have, isn't it?  :thumbup

Earlier I said something like I don't care whether he goes out, he'll never make it because Suso, Sterling, Coutinho, Lallana and Markovic were all ahead of him... Seems like I'm going to have to eat my words.

I think that it started by him saying that he wants to prove himself at Liverpool, not in another loan deal. He needs to have a patience though, and we do too. People tend to forget how long it took us to see Agger and Skrtel play together.
