No wonder you are having a mid life crisis!

It might have been a quick wave from Little Luis (and his usual thumbs up when he sees it), but the warm glow has lasted for days  ;)

Did we get the cheapest return trip to the airport?

Never give up

How much ?

I negotiated 110 Hryvna after the old turning-out-my-pockets-to-prove-it -was-all-I-had-left routine.

Great stuff Garreth. LOL  ;D

We didn't even negotiate and were offered 90 Hryvnia on the way back. Considering it was such a bargain it seemed rude not to accept :)

You win. (But my driver did start at 150)

Sadly, of the remaining dozen or so bags going round the mingy little conveyor belt, none of them rang a bell. This, however, rang alarm bells with me. My bag had obviously decided it liked the look of Amsterdam, and was probably off down the Leidensplatz, leering in a bar at a couple of lesbians doing a floor-show, while downing a quick few Heineken’s and then off into the red light district to find a cute little handbag of the night to have it away with, leaving me alone and abandoned in a strange airport. Bagless.

Bastard.

Yes they do, they're just called 'The New Saints' as opposed to 'Total Network Solutions' :nirnir

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/league_of_wales/5041124.stm

But they were called Total Netword Solutions after the telephone company who sponsered them, and they've been bought out so don't exist anymore :nirnir

I'm quite aware of the Welsh Premier teams, know quite a few of the Welsh Premier referee's so get to hear all sorts of stories, will hopefully be refereeing them myself in a few years time.

Anyway, I'm right, you're wrong. See, better ;)

The more the merrier. Always good to read of the trips abroad.

Just reading a post on another thread reminded me of another little gem from Kiev - a few scouse lads who had checked in before me and were on my floor were coming out of their room complaining they had no toilet roll. I'd spied a cleaner doing the rounds as I'd been on the way to my room, so pointed them in her direction. When they got there, 'toilet roll?' accompanied by hand gestures making circles didn't seem to work, until one fella, deciding that they were getting nowhere, just went "ere y'are love" and proceeded to enthusiastically mime wiping his arse! Had us all in stitches, but got the job done and she smiled, and returned swiftly with some Andrexski :)

I always stick my reports in here - perhaps they'd be better served in LFC forum?

Really? I thought it might have been a mistake- as I thought I'd read a few of yours last season in the LFC forum? Must have been someone else.

And yes, definitely be better in the LFC Forum- I think more people will be able to enjoy them, as more people will see them there!

Top post, read this in the boozer last night and very much enjoyed it. Wish I could think of something more to offer discussion-wise than a pat on the back for writing it, but just like the comfort versus speed differential in members of the opposite sex, some posts are made to read and others to discuss ;)
