No wonder we come out buzzing after half time.

If this were the England set-up, Rooney would be requesting fresh juice only from a granny smith  :-X.

One of the best profile pieces, I've read this year. I thought the point about cooking lessons for the players was quite beneficial. It would also be interesting if they ever published a recipe book

Really interesting that, thanks for posting.

Im surprised how a fundamental facet such as nutrition can be so overlooked in the modern game. It feels good that we are for a change at the forefront of such innovation rather than playing catch up. Excellent work by Klopp, and the support of the owners to embrace such alternate but non the less vitally important area of science to gain possibly only a fundamentally minor advantage should be recognised.

It is a game of percentages, and any small incremental increase in the potential to win will be a huge benefit. It also brings to me huge relief and reassurance that all aspects of the club are in good hands with Klopp.
Every great achievement

At the risk of inciting outrage, I would say this is where having an American setup at the top helps. They are miles ahead of any other country (except maybe Germany) in aspects such as nutrition in sports. Sports science has a completely different, extremely important setup in US sports and nutrition is a vital aspect of it.

No outrage here.

Great article, cheers for posting. It's encouraging to see the lengths everyone at the club will go to for that extra couple of percent. I love how proud Klopp is of it.
