Welcome back Joe Gomez! (hopefully)
What a good player joe was turning out to be before he got injured. It'll be good to see him play!
Is it Jomez or Joemez? Never did get to the bottom of that one.
I agree but I think it will be Lucas for Klaven who may well be needed for the next 2 (bigger) games. I think one of Can / Gini will deffo start. Likewise I agree Origi plays. Maybe Lallana too but that will be it for the first teamers I reckon. Karius TAA, Lucas and Gomez, Moreno. Lallana, Paul Stewart, Can, Eljaria, Origi, Wilson ??
After the crazy holiday fixtures, have a feeling Klopp will give a run out to the kids with maybe 3 first team starters in the mix..Karius TAA Gomez Lucas MorenoEjaria Can StewartLallana Origi Woodburn
I'm guessing Ojo will start of Lallana myself. Going to need him fresh for Wednesday. It would be nice if Wilson got some minutes as well. He's deserved it after recent performances for the U23's in my opinion.
I’ve plenty links to the clubs playing and backroom staff as many on here know thank you very much. Fair enough, I admire your optimism. But you’re absolute ostriches if you think this squad, even with 2 or 3 new, “cut price” players with potential get us anywhere close
The bench will be interesting. Will Klopp include youngsters like Wilson or will hepack it out with senior players just in case.Migs is a given. Clyne, Lovren, Pedro, Lallana, Wilson and DunnNot sure if Dunn is cup tied.
"The key isn't the system itself, but how the players adapt on the pitch. It doesn't matter if it's 4-3-3 or 4-4-2, it's the role of the players that counts." Rafa Benitez
Seniors on the bench. It's the right way, in case something goes terribly wrong.
It is important to do well in the Cups but we have to prioritize the league, our squad depth is a bit weak and we need to protect our first teamers from burnout.
But then you can't really give seniors two weeks off before the Utd game either. It's a difficult decision to how to approach these two cup games before our game of the season. Guess probably the best way would be to use players tomorrow who will be rested midweek and vice-versa.
You can literally just read the post above mine... I would just love us to win any trophy and hate anyone who states otherwise.
It's not going to have a big impact on the first team should the young ones slip up. Obviously nobody wants to go out but Wednesday is the priority.
Has to be Jomez. Anyone who disagrees is a dumb poo poo nose.
Would like to see Harry Wilson, the only lot of the reserve crop to not yet get his chance, with Mane gone agains league 2 opposition and him being the best u23 player this season, surely he warrants a chance, maybe?
Why is it our game of the season?
Strange comment, why is it not?
Craig Burnley V West Ham - WEST HAM WIN - INCORRECT
so many different line ups.but anyone here knows what kind of football plymouth tends to play?it be interesting if they play route 1 to see how our defence with gomez adapts.
