Didn't see the challenge, but the fact that they're not showing it again probably says it all. Totally stupid from Taylor.

Bale's challenge was bad. That was worse. And the irony is, Neil Taylor is not a dirty player.

no he's not, but he had a major rush of blood there.

Looks nasty for Coleman.

Wales should be done to 9 here. Fucking disgusting challenges being made here. Same goes for Whelan(?) with that elbow in the first half.

Ireland should have been down to 10 before the end of the first half.

Only tuned in to see if we'd see Wilson or Woodburn at some point, obviously that won't be happening now so think I'll be turning off. What a pile of shite these two teams are.

Doesn't seem very fair that Taylor will miss a couple of games in June while Coleman might not see any action this side of Christmas.

It doesn't make you "absolute scum" because you made one bad tackle. It happens, and he was very apologetic afterward.

Doesn't really mean anything. They're not showing it because of the injury - which can happen in a legitimate challenge.

Not saying it wasn't a bad challenge, but wouldn't call any player scum without at least a replay.

Maybe. I'd hope so. But he'll be playing football every week for the next six months.

It was a horrendously reckless challenge though. Absolutely no need for it.

Want to rewind it on my sky+ but not if he's broken his leg. Cant stomach stuff like that, wish him well, never nice seeing a player get a bad injury.

Seen a replay of it again. It doesn't look good. I don't think there was malice behind it from Taylor but it's a woeful challenge; like genuinely incompetent for a professional footballer to tackle like that.

To be fair you don't see anything gruesome

The tackle was bad as his other leg seemed to come in with a scissor motion

Watch it again. He knows what he is doing.

Bale should be off for that high kick.

He jumped in two footed, studs up from three yards away, it's hard to imagine a worse tackle. He knew bloody well what he was doing, absolutely disgusting.

Bad tackle, yes. Horrible outcome, yes. But he had just spun round and saw a bouncing ball. He tries to win it in a stupid, reckless way and it went very badly wrong.

Just seen that tackle. It's a horrific one. Ball was there to be won clean, but he goes right over it and smashes Coleman's leg, which then flops all over the place. Certainly broken.

Yep. They'll ****e on about 'he's not that kind of player' and the rest but if you jump in two-footed and break someone's leg, then you are that kind of player. I just hope UEFA look at it and give him more than a three-match ban.

Looks one footed to me.

Not defending it - certainly a red card. Doesn't look like malice to me though but hard to tell without a proper replay.

Now, to me, that looked like a fair challenge from both sides. Both men went for the ball. I don't know how you can side with one player or the other on that. But then it doesn't help when you're not shown a replay.
