Was sat in Stoke's main stand upper teir just near the away end. Was dead first half, but what I'd have given to be in the Liverpool end when Firmino's goal went in. Had to sit there in silence. Was so so so hard! Went off.

OMG poor you, I'd have given myself away. I celebrated like crazy when we beat City in a Manc pub, despite everything lived to tell the tale.  ;)

Anyway great support from everyone, well done, if only we could get Anfield like this too, we'd be unstoppable.

Looked like there were plenty celebrating in the Main stand when the 2nd went in.

Never known fans like theirs.

Think of the angriest you've ever been, that's what they're like when they don't get a throw in. It was genuinely mad.

Their fans had the cheek to sing about Mike Dean when they were leading because of him.

Also the stadium announcer "mighty, mighty Potters" - is he having a fucking laugh?

I still remember last season in the league cup semi-final, this fat fucker trying to put our players off during the penalty shootout, every single time he failed (because, you know, these are professional footballers who play at Premier League and international level, they're not going to be put off by some fat inbred), he actually looked defeated! ;D

Haha unbelievable coming from him!!

I saw that exact same prick with the dyed Red Beard last season. He was giving it loads outside the ground about Scousers. Bin Dippers, Sign on etc.

He was also giving grief to one of the lads selling the LFC fanzine outside our end.

And he talks about respecting Liverpool before the flares.

LOL - Fuck off you inbred.  I'm made up with this video, really am. Makes yesterdays result even sweeter :)

We were virtually surrounded by moaners yesterday apart from a young lad to my left - we need more like him! Living it and supporting his team  :D Must have only been abut 13 and on his own (or at least separate from his mates)

Luckily many others a bit further away were singing for most of it so we weren't alone....but it makes me wonder more and more why some go! Can only assume they enjoy moaning....  :-\

Even in the second half some were complaining about one player after another.... Wish they'd all fuck off to be honest!  :wanker

No correlation between the two. Stoke is down the road so not many will be selling their tickets on.
Boro midweek would of put a lot off there's always spares knocking about for the north east.

Stoke is only 60 miles down the road and Boro is more local than any of the London games or Southampton or Bournemouth so shouldn't affect attendance.

I didn't say it wasn't close, just that the grounds are a but out of town. Boro not that far but Stoke is just by a motorway, not like say Newcastle where it is in the city centre? And both are hardly places on most people's bucket lists surely...

Just guessing why fewer corporates go...

As you may or may not be aware, Virgin Media will refund £10 on tickets from yesterday's match. It is important that everyone who went takes them up on this offer, it's only £10 but it shows that there is an appetite for change. If we don't claim the money back then football clubs and the premier league will argue that there isn't a desire for reducing ticket prices.

To reclaim your £10 go to: http://keepup.virginmedia.com/twentys-plenty

This applies to all games this weekend and next so tell your friends who travel away with other clubs as well.

Together we can make football more affordable for all.

Maybe we need a "Those were the days my friend" thread for all of us who are old enough to remember when we had a proper away following.

Start it. Great idea.

Southampton away in the semis when Walsh chinnd Kevin Bond. Our coaches got there dead early and parked by a school with a hockey game going on. We all lined up along the pitch cheering for the team in red. The odd shout of I'd shag you miss caused laughter. When the red team scored we invaded the pitch.

 :D

Inside the ground our kid got hit in the head with a coin and took the batteries out of his walkman and launched them. I loved the way he never threw money back the stingey twat. After the game walking down a main road Southampton were waiting for us. Someone shouted ' get them ' and we all charged and they fucking shit it and got on their toes.

The two flags with our lads weren't allowed in either. Apparently, every flag has to have a fire Hazard certificate or something similar.

Some lads behind us got told they couldn't bring their flag in without a fire certificate. Imagine the look of annoyance on the stewards face when the flag owner conveniently pointed out the required certificate stuck to the back of his flag :)

I thought the same requirements applied at Anfield?
