Every man, his dog even the wife who doesn't watch Liverpool knew we had to buy a new Goalkeeper good enough to play at this level, Liverpool failed to bring in that GK which for me is inexcusable. You can talk a lot about rock and roll football, Gegenpressing, Belief and all the other wise words but football is a simple game, easy to understand and easy to play..complicated by people who should know a lot better.

Can did give away the corner with a brain fart. He had a few of those today. I must admit I'm not a fan of his, but he's trying very hard not to prove me wrong.

We didn't have one chance yet I think. It's been play outside the box, then try to play a ball in, and they clear the ball. Even though Mane has speed, it does nothing against a parked bus. I do wish we weren't so obstinate trying to play so many passes on a crap pitch with eight players in the box. Take a few shots from the outside, give the defence another look, draw them outside. I do imagine that's why Can is playing, we need a couple of players willing to take on a shot or two just to change it up.

Too many sideways balls in the midfield, making us totally predictable whenever we decide to ship it out wide. Coutinho actually guilty of slowing down the play. Mignolet...well...he's gonna Mignolet, isn't he? Clear out needed come the summer.

Defensively we are as bad as we have been for three or four seasons, nothing improves. Add that to a lack of incisiveness up front and you are not going to win many games.

I wonder what it'll take for Mignolet to never start a league game for us again. I know the whole team has been shite but his mistakes rob us of any shred of confidence we could have. It was the same last season, where I thought Moreno and Mignolet were by far the biggest reason we finished so low in the league. It's not just one goal, it's the momentum.
