Liverpool finances.
« on: January 3, 2017, 05:11:09 am »
Hi all,

Would anyone know where I'd able be to get info on our current finances. I'd also appreciate our revenue info such as Matchday, Broadcast and Sponsorship income.
IMHO, we need to be on top of our finances to be able to play well.

I did a search but could not find any current and relevant info.

Thanks & HNY.

Companies House has all the actual accounts available free of charge. Or use Swiss Ramble if you're not able/wanting to decipher the actual accounts.

At this time of year you'll be looking at accounts which are a long long way out of date though (to end May 2015), and won't tell you much at all that is relevant to now.

Thanks guys, much appreciated.

If there's going to be any sanity to ticket prices, the club(s)/the FA should impose limits on Match-Day takings for all clubs.

If there's going to be any sanity to ticket prices, the club(s)/the FA should impose limits on Match-Day takings for all clubs.

Just to pick you up on a small point, match day takings are a heck of a lot more than just ticket prices. As the phrase suggests, it's everything that is taken on match day - beer, pie, trip to the club shop, program - your 78,000 Old Trafford is always going to have a higher match day takings than your 12,000 cap vitality stadium even if the ticket prices were adjusted so the ticket takings were equal. Add in corporate seats and your takings go up even more.

I'm sure FSG are well aware that we need to be operating in a stable capacity. I wonder what they've been doing to aid this the last few years?
