Weird half. Good first 10 minutes before they scored after which Stoke had us rattled, the crowd were getting frustrated and we were fortunate not to be further behind. Very timely equaliser, after which we were by far the better team and went on to take the lead!

More of the first and last 10 in the second half please, less of the bit in between.

Deserved lead, and it seems luck agrees with me on that when it comes to our second! Stoke got lucky with their goal, but I can't see them being much of a threat in the second half. Play at our best and this should be a comfortable win.

Thought Origi was outstanding that half. He is so good at holding the ball and laying it off to someone else. Sadio has been good as well.

Good response from the boys. Joe Allen's booking has curtailed him somewhat thankfully. He was head and shoulders above everyone for the first 25minutes.

Their goal was a bit flukey but good to see us come back. Impressed overall, think we are going to dominate them in the second half. Firminho's head is in the game at least

It was unsaveable imo. Too fast and lovren's fault really.

After 30 minutes you could see Stoke were absolutely fucked, which is where our fitness work is coming in handy. Weird middle 20 minutes of the half, and credit to Stoke for giving it a crack, but they couldn't handle the shift up in gear, especially from Lallana, and the patience paid off.

I'd maybe unleash Sturridge for the second half, give Origi a solid rest ahead of the City match. Will be an interesting second half for sure.

Joe Allen has been the best player on the field.

Delighted to get in ahead considering how poorly we played for the first 30 or so. Could have been more than 1-0 down. Good last 15 though. Foot down and refusing to back off. For once we benefit off Glen Johnson's shitness. 2nd goal was a great finish.

As for Stoke's goal well that is what you get with players like Lovren and Mignolet. Capable for brilliance once minute and not so brilliant the next. At least Mig made up for it with a great save from Allen. Side note, Mig has been a lot better with his feet and coming from crosses today.

Stoke looked strong early on. As the half progressed however Liverpool got more and more into the game and we got our rewards

Great to see Firmino regain his scoring touch. As for Lallana, he just can't seem to stop. Overall we look pretty dominant right now, even if we also look pretty shaky at the back. One thing I've noticed is that much like a fair few games lately, a lot of the short passes have too much pace on them and are going long, but that could be a consequence of the speed at which we're playing.

Stoke were pressing well, getting balls wide and delivering. Really good tactic but our quality helped us out in the box.

Stoke were good for long spells and should of been 2-0 up, we responded eventually.. still think we look so dodgy at the back at times, so open. we'll have to be so much better against City. excellent last 20 minutes from us.

Some of our play in the first 25 was awful, great that we'ce turned it round, brilliant in the last 20 minutes. Think it would be wise for the lads to stop the cross especially seeing as they have giants in the box waiting to head in.

Joe Allen showing what a good little player he is.. seems well up for it.

Huge concerns about the way we conceded that goal.. shocking from atleast 3 of our lads.

The pre-match thread is still open, I reported it to try and get it closed after they scored because I expected a few of the bedwetters to suddenly appear, but they didn't.
