Kitster's poster is disgustingly good! I was looking at few propaganda posters trying to get some ideas, thought I'd post what I came up with for good measure;

But I really like the idea of altering a well known logo or phrase, something that could be picked up on and made trendy, it could be applied to stickers, flyers, posters etc. Just something that people will really latch on to.

You know the way the Kop magazine has that page were everyone is showing the 5 fingers from different parts of the world maybe we could get photos of Tom and George not welcome here sent in to Kop,Echo Well Red any where from all over the place.

Cheers for this Koplass - one thing - we're not going to use the "Tom and George - Not Welcome Here" line (or the SOS logo) because we want to make it clear what's from the union and what's not. We can be more 'edgy' than they can, and we can work quicker, so it's a good idea to make the distinction, you know?

Kit - that's gotta be one of the flyers we print off ourselves and get into the pubs. Brilliant.

We could definitely be getting these into DVD cases and sneaking them into the games section and movie section of... wherever. We've still not talked about the potential shit but it's a superb idea.

It's a tricky one this - there's a risk that we'll confuse and the keystone for the whole thing does kind of have to be SOS, doesn't it? A logo would be useful though. A mischievous Liverbird, along the lines of an 'alternative Playboy logo' they showed in Computer Arts Projects a month or two ago. It was a fox that had eaten the bunny, and had a bow tie hanging from its mouth. It was a black and white circular pictogram - small enough to get on to a little button. We could do that. I like both the ideas of changing a recognisable logo and leaving the DVD prints in shops. Surely they can't do you for anything, if anything just ask you to leave and they'll point the DVD in the bin?

That's what I'm thinking too Rakey. It's the perfect scally tactic for us no? Every HMV round the country sells Liverpool DVDs in the sports section. Every Tescos is gonna have the Istanbul DVDs out. Everywhere is gonna be selling world cup merchandise.

Have sent an infringement report. Got to stop this now. I have a good few indonesian friends on facebook who have posted me photos of people wearing my designs on shirts. Screenprinted too, so someone is making money without ever asking. this is about the tenth time. Got to start coming down on them now. They dont even have the final artwork, as only Roy has it so far. - the mock-up looks great, the product they receive is going to be shite.

Just been on the Photoshop thread and Walton Breck Road reckoned that Kitster's Torres poster looked like a Banksy. Just wondering do we have any talented graffitti artists that could reproduce it some where were it would have a bit of impact? or am I straying off target?

The one that jumps out at me from that list is the KFC one.

LFC as opposed to KFC like.

Obviously depends on the quality of the font etc but instead of Coca-Cola you could have Joker-Owner with a pic of Hicks or Gillet. I’m sure others could come up with something better in time but could you try that as a start to see how it looks?

Kit - am sorry you've got to put up with that. Rest assured we'll help you in any way we can to tackle that kind of shite.

That goes for the other artists and designers involved. We've tried to be careful to get permission and proper credit for everyone (thus far behind the scenes on things like the image in Well Red and forthcoming uses of the blood bag image). We'll continue to do that. We need to make sure you're happy we use your contributions in the right way for you.

Don't know if it's worth a go but I think it's on the cover of the Independent today that has a graph of the amount of debt Britain is in and highlighted is a very little portion that apparently is the amount of money that's being cut in the Budget.

I can't find a picture of it online but it looked very effective, lots of little boxes stacked on eachother, the graph taking up most of the front page. Perhaps we can implement something similar with regards to the debt?
