I love me some Sanders....but...have you heard Leon Thomas's version...it's my favourite of all the different cuts of that piece...it also features Sanders......along with a few decent musicians...Lonnie Liston Smith amongst others. From Spirits Known and Unknown.

There's not, Andy. He died just after he made that that LP for Curtis, and it was released after his death. His voice was beautiful.

It's a brilliant late period work, that album (Don't Give Up On Me). Love the Van Morrison cover, 'Fast Train', and the Tom Waits song 'Diamond In Your Mind' off it too.
