I thank you.  :)

So....as we were saying...

...Morrisons, some cracking deals appear there every now and then.

Waitrose too have a Chapoutier Chateau Neuf on at only £14, which if you want a treat is one of the best wines about. Reduced from £18. Although it is only a 2002, it is beautiful. The Xabi Alonso of the Rhone Valley!  ;D

I'm not actually allowing alcohol past my lips at the moment, but when I am, my taste in wine runs to chilled reds.

Does that make me a complete philistine?

NO NO NO

Some of the best reds I have tasted are best chilled.

Go to Oddbins and try Kent Rasmussen, Ramsey Estate Pinot Noir, particularly the Caneros version, is superb chilled.

For a spot over £30...

VC make some of the best vintage champage, if you can get hold of the 1995 or 1993 it would be even better.

Good stuff isn't it.

If you can get hold of any a company in New Zealand called Perigrine make an awesome Pinot Noir, from Central Otago. Still i'd go to Oddbins and try the Ramsey. Should only be about £7
