A giant of Liverpool Football Club. Part of the greatest moments this club will ever have. There should be a statue or a stand named after him. He should not and will not ever be forgotten. I shed some tears when I read he died today. Rest easy. YNWA. Xx

Watching Lfc tv and im taken aback by the man. I always knew he was a legend but the level of respect everyone had for him and how he never took no shit just makes me smile. Really helped put our wonderful club where it is today and thats something each and everyone of us will love him for. YNWA

Same. Childhood memories are smattered by images of this friendly looking affable old fella in a trackie. As I got older it became apparent that he was as hard as nails, either way it doesn't matter. A thoroughly decent bloke, a red through and through and a part of our great history forever.
