Bale's challenge was bad. That was worse. And the irony is, Neil Taylor is not a dirty player.
Wales should be done to 9 here. Fucking disgusting challenges being made here. Same goes for Whelan(?) with that elbow in the first half.
That was a criminal tackle. Absolute scum.
Ireland should have been down to 10 before the end of the first half.
Wouldn't go that far mate.
I would. It was that bad a tackle, they won't show it.
Doesn't really mean anything. They're not showing it because of the injury - which can happen in a legitimate challenge. Not saying it wasn't a bad challenge, but wouldn't call any player scum without at least a replay.
Doesn't seem very fair that Taylor will miss a couple of games in June while Coleman might not see any action this side of Christmas.
Aye, it looked like a legit tackle.
Oh come on Ray, that's the Irish in you talking, not reason. I promise you, Neil Taylor will be devastated.
It was a shocker. Just watched it back. I would say a broken leg. Players nearest him knew it instantly
Want to rewind it on my sky+ but not if he's broken his leg. Cant stomach stuff like that, wish him well, never nice seeing a player get a bad injury.
Seen a replay of it again. It doesn't look good. I don't think there was malice behind it from Taylor but it's a woeful challenge; like genuinely incompetent for a professional footballer to tackle like that.
Watch it again. He knows what he is doing.Bale should be off for that high kick.
Zero chance that he's deliberately tried to do him.
He jumped in two footed, studs up from three yards away, it's hard to imagine a worse tackle. He knew bloody well what he was doing, absolutely disgusting.
Just seen that tackle. It's a horrific one. Ball was there to be won clean, but he goes right over it and smashes Coleman's leg, which then flops all over the place. Certainly broken.
Yep. They'll ****e on about 'he's not that kind of player' and the rest but if you jump in two-footed and break someone's leg, then you are that kind of player. I just hope UEFA look at it and give him more than a three-match ban.
Looks one footed to me.Not defending it - certainly a red card. Doesn't look like malice to me though but hard to tell without a proper replay.
If you want to see why there was no replayhttps://twitter.com/goodlad34/status/845388094081773569
You've just seen it? You were calling him absolute scum 15 minutes ago?
