apart from that ridiculous game vs Warsaw, Dortmund haven't been that leaky in the CL.  But I suppose monaco will give them a game, I'd make them big favourites though, BVB that is. They'll manage the games better than City, and despite Tuchel wanting to be Guardiola-Lite, he's a little more pragmatic!

They haven't conceded absolutely loads but Real Madrid is the only good team they've played. Monaco's attack is one of the very best in Europe, if Tuchel tries to be a smart arse they'll get slapped about.

Worst draw for Leicester imo. Vardy will get nothing against Atletis defence.

Yep. It's what I've been saying. They'll get no space at all. And if Leicester want to turn it into a physical kicking match, Atleti will be only too happy to oblige as well.

I think Tuchel has come down to earth a bit this 2nd half of the season after so many indifferent performances, and will be more pragmatic.  But hey, I may be wrong, he might decide to show off :D

Do Dortmund play the 2nd leg at home?

Very nice draw, my semi finalists are Real Barca Atletico and Monaco. 3 Spanish teams.

Dortmund play the first leg at home, though I'm not sure that's much of a disadvantage in this tie, I expect multiple away goals from both teams.

Can't see it myself. Real always find a way in these big games, Bayern are a bit flat track bully type.

Probably the worst draw possible for Leicester. Try and counter attack into gaps behind the back 4 against Simeone ha. At least they can visit a great European stadium and city

Might be an advantage to Dortmund if they win and keep them off the board in the home game, cos they'll be confident of scoring in Monaco. And really, as wonderful the football as they play, they wheren't really high scoring in the CL this season till the City games. Anyway, we'll see, it'll be funny if the games end up 1-0 and 1-1 ;)

the Media are deluded as fuck, calling it a winnable tie for Leicester  :lmao :lmao :lmao

Atletico Madrid losing against a bunch of yard dogs, when they are the ultimate yard dog team I just can't see that happening.

I genuinely think it is the least winnable tie they could have got. The likes of Dortmund, Monaco, Bayern and Barcelona are susceptible to the counter attack. Atletico certainly are not.

Echo this - tactically the worst tie they could have got probably. Reckon Monaco would have been their best bet given how open they can be at the back. I give them less than zero chance against Atleti.

Anderlecht are decent. They've got some decent results in Europe this season and are top of their semi-competitive league. Have beaten Zenit comfortably at home and battered Mainz.

I'd fancy them to get a result in the home tie, it all depends on whether they can hold their nerve at Old Trafford.

Here are some quotes of why Atletico is a winnable tie for Leicester

"It's a winnable tie. Atletico are fourth in La Liga and won't like the Foxes' style of play. They'll have seen how they dispatched Sevilla and won't be looking forward to Jamie Vardy running at them. Wishful thinking, maybe, but it's a good draw for City."

Godin won't like Vardy running at him. Even though in the past he's kept the likes of Lewandowski, Messi and Ronaldo in check.

Atletico won't like Leicester style of play, Atletico though are setup in the same formation as Leicester and play a similar brand of football all be it at a higher level.

Atletcio have reached two champions league three finals in three seasons, surely they deserve more respect than this.

Takes years for people to give proper respect to teams from abroad sometimes.

It's like those people you've quoted have literally no idea how football works

I genuinely think it is the least winnable tie they could have got. The likes of Dortmund, Monaco, Bayern and Barcelona are susceptible to the counter attack. Atletico certainly are not.

This is the correct reaction. Not thinking that Vardy will relish facing one of the meanest defences in the world :lmao

I agree that for Leicester, Atletico will be equally as hard as Barcelona, Bayern or Real. Style wise they should completely negate Leicester's usual plan.

In terms of going all the way I wouldn't mind anyone outside of the three usual winners I've just mentioned.

Playing up Leicester's chances is just pure desperation of the English media hoping the the last remaining English side somehow go through.

There is always a chance. Will be very difficult for them though. Atleti won't commit men forward leaving themselves vulnerable to the counter.

I think people are forgetting one thing, Atlético really struggle against sides that don't go out to attack them and Leicester won't. Atlético might just win the series but I hardly think it's going the blow out people are expecting. It will be a really tight and boring as fuck series.
