The change has been made. This better not be the RAWK draft where people decide that you need a historic keeper between the sticks
I would honestly let Wijnaldum jizz in my face right now

Gutted. I was going to pick Cannavaro + Nesta + Buffon. The ultimate trio  :'(

yeah, maybe that might have been better overall, but I was thinking, hmm keeper's don't get that much attention, and I want Maldini + club partnership rather than an international one

The people on here who get the Gullit 'Centre Back' joke are those who played the drafts from the very beginning with me and Prof.  Not ones who joined last year.  :D

Sorry for the delay, guys. 3 consecutive picks took my first choices while I was out and about. I was trying my hardest not to pick Zidane there, but I just couldn't come up with a combination as good as those two.

I have a question.

Now that Xavi-Iniesta has been picked, can any of the following pairing still be drafted : Messi-Villa and Messi-Suarez.

Betty being very obvious....

:(

Like I say I really didn't want to be. My plan was to pick Cannavaro + Nesta + Buffon and try to build a defensive unit for a change, but that was scuppered along with Beckenbauer going a few picks earlier. There are some other great defensive combinations, but none that quite appealed to me on the level of those two.

I have a question.

Of course. They are only off-limits to Hazell who can't have any more pairs from that same Barca team.

Pretty sure everyone below you is going to pick them now  :D

Can of worms right here. Messi won't last to you anyway, so I doubt it's a major issue....

Nah only messing, I didn't expect Messi to last so long but he's generally played in a front three so it was pretty difficult. And you know, I wouldn't want to make 'that' kind of pick just because he's Messi. I'm sure everyone on here will do the same.

Still no sign of Rysoph. If he doesn't show up by the end of the first round, do we have any draft watchers out there who'd like to take over?

Rysoph vanishing lost us a lot of draft time, unfortunately. The order will be reversed as nomal. So you will get two pairs of picks in quick succession.

Nice pick on Garincha and Djalma there. Glad that blocks a somewhat cheesy pick that may have been tempting a few people as well.
