Speroni, Ward, Mariappa, Delaney, Moxey, Jedinak, O'Keefe, Puncheon, Kebe, Jerome, Chamakh

Price, Inniss, Campana, Guedioura, Bolasie, Gayle, Phillips

Should be a win here, depends how the first 5 minutes go. Yannick has pace but we'll be able to deal with it if he comes on.

Holloway going for it then... 2 up top with Jerome and Chamakh both starting... hmmm...

3-0 to us..

Well, normally we'd have Lucas and Allen. So it's not really as desperate as you're making it out to be. unless you think it's logical to have another CM on top of the 4 we already have?

Brendan favours a 4-3-3. Coutinho and Alberto are really best sited in the front 3 so does that not leave us with 4 CMs for 3 places? Not enough given injuries, suspensions etc.

Such a PR stunt by Suarez taking the kids out!
Let us never forget Rafael Benitez and what he did for us. A fighter full of guts and passion. A gentleman full of class and dignity. A football manager full of intelligence and pure genius. A Legend.
Adios Rafa, buena suerte.

This is going to be pretty open based on the line-ups, plenty of goals hopefully all in our favour. Going for another 3-1.

When's the last time we played 4-3-3?

I've got a feeling that Origi is the real deal, from a couple of games I watched but mainly his interviews there seems to be something about him.

The RAWK obsession with Luis Alberto is almost becoming as bad as the RAWK love in with Dani Pacheco.

What merits a young lad like Alberto to start this game? A hat trick for the U21s? His one start against Notts County where he didn't really make a mark on the game? His loan spell at Barcelona reserves?

Or the fact he's Spanish and has a sexy name?

Let the lad grow and develop into the first team before putting all this ridiculous pressure on him.

Well yes you have answered your own question. As far as I'm aware, that is the point of the u21's. If you do well for the u21's, then you deserve a crack in the first team. Although yes, we don't want rush him. He definitely has the potential.
