Agree.

It's 'de ASDA' or 'de ASDA's' for some people

It's also "Tescoes" or 'de Tesco' and not Tesco.

At least where I'm from in Liverpool anyway.
I think Jookie might just be the best fisherman on this thread.

Don't think I've ever put this one in here , but around 1999 me my wife her sister and my brother in law goes to new York in the summer . We go on the ferry to statue of liberty and Ellis island . It's a really hot day so we go downstairs under the cover of the ferry  . Half way through the crossing I see Ian rush at the kiosk on the ferry ..." theres Ian Rush " I say to my brother in law ...now I would'nt bother anyone like that but he doesn't give a shite who he talks too , so he goes up to the kiosk and rushie turns around with an ice cream cornet in each hand and my brother in law starts chatting to him ...a really good few minutes later he's still chatting and you can see rushies trying to get away .
Next minute I notice the ice cream starting to run down his fingers and he finally gets away from him . He comes back totally oblivious to poor rushies melted ice cream . Asked him what he said and he said asked where he was from and knew a few lads he knew and he was doing a bit of coaching there ...he said his final words were ..." listen Joe I'll have to go the kids are dying for there ice cream
