Topic: Best match, best moment of 2016......

Dortmund game was mental. Felt like any great knockout game of ours from the Champions League. You would have forgotten it was Europa. So sad that we didn't manage to win the overall thing... there were many moments in that run where you felt our name was on the trophy. However, had we made it through, perhaps we wouldn't be going as well as we are in the league now. As Klopp said after the final loss: "One day people will look back on now and say that Basel was very important for the history of LFC" (not verbatim).

If 5-4 Norwich was 2016, that's my second favourite moment. Another crazy game with a late winner. Late winners feel fucking amazing, we all know that

1. Lovrens winner against Dortmund

2. Mane's winner against Everton last Monday

3. Coutinho's goal against United at Old Trafford in the Europa

My thoughts exactly...

So many great moments for me but if I have to pick one I'll go for the Coutinho goal at Old Trafford. Our end was rocking at halftime and the whole 2nd half.

quality, that. the little pause from the commentator just as the ball hits the back of the net for 4-3 and you can hear the crazed celebrations...unreal.

That game has to be the game of the year without a doubt. It is massively bittersweet though because you can't watch it without thinking of the collapse in Basel.

Other highlights would be the belief that came after the wins at the Emirates and Stamford Bridge, Old Trafford in the europa (my nomination for best goal) and Mane last week. It's been a really exciting year!

That Dortmund game is going down as one of the greatest in our history. Nothing else stands a chance against something like that. It was just beautiful in every way.

These thing though are usually determined by how you go on and do in the competition. Had we won it in Basel, then this would surely go down as the greatest ever Anfield night. Because we lost in the final, this is a little bit further down the pecking order behind Chelsea, Olympiakos and and St Etienne.

Obviously Dortmund, but the way we beat Chelsea earlier this season has to be up there for me.

Was in the Kop for Dortmund and that was as good as I can remember. United at home in Europa was boss as well

Lovren's header had my grandad hiding under the table in the 12th man, we still laugh about that now. What a special night.
Mané's winner at Goodison, Half Time at Old Trafford in the Europa and Dortmund away are my honourable mentions.
