"9,000 Manchester City fans in attendance tonight"

Didn't realise they even had 9,000 fans!

doesn't seem to be many that shout out cupset really is there? Most of the big teams are at home, apart from City, but they are playing a struggling team. And some pretty dire all prem matchups with Hull v Swansea, Sunderland v Burnley, Everton v Leicester.

I think Man United v Reading and Tottenham v Aston Villa have some potential. Reading are 3rd in the Championship and Man United have a semi-final in midweek. Tottenham have quite a weak squad in my opinion and if Pochettino rings the changes (bringing in players like Winks, Sissoko etc) I could certainly see Aston Villa springing a surprise.

Why is Payet not playing ?

Surely City have an alternative to Zabeleta in midfield.

Who is the BBC co-commentator tonight? Can't work out if it's Danny Mills or Graeme Le Saux

What a tackle from Reid, he's a very good player. Really surprised some of the better teams in the league haven't seriously considered him.

His form has generally been good this season. He was heavily linked with Arsenal a while back, before opting to sign a new deal with West Ham.

West Ham would probably want a big fee for him, but he's better than any of the CBs Man City have in my opinion.

Rafa Benitez: "I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager. Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone."

I remember as a kid I used to watch the FA Cup final every year. Only footy I ever watched until I was older. As a teenager I used to love it too. Remember watching Aston Villa (top of Prem) against Hull City (bottom of Third Div) in 1999 and buying into "the magic of the FA Cup." What happened to it? I just don't care about it any more.

Not even that arsed if we play a second string and get knocked out--or at least, I think it'd sting me less than that Sunderland result last week. Obviously I want us to win every trophy going, but there's a part of me that thinks "fuck off this distraction and go into the league games fresh." Please don't ban me  :-X.

Anyway, I'm watching West Ham vs City. Hope it goes to a replay, just to congest City's fixture list a bit.

Open goal and he misses, what a kick in the Feghouli's that must be.

In Feghouli and Zaza, West Ham have found two of the worst players to have graced the Premier League for years.
