Arbeloa/Lass the prime candidates to take over from Pepe/Ramos.

Schalke are actually in a better position than we were when we gave Chelse a massive fright a couple of years ago. The main difference though is that back then we were at the very least on a par with Chelsea and you can’t say the same this time. An early away goal could make things fun for a short while but I can see United just doing enough and getting through with the minimum fuss.

Bit different though really. We were arguably the best team in the country at the time, certainly the team in best form, and had an awesome record in the CL for the previous 4 years or so.

Whereas Schalke are quite simply, shite.

Fully expect more diving, whinging and imaginary card waving. Almost certain that a Real Madrid player will get sent off. Expect Messi to produce a dazzling display and the game will end 3-0 Messi Messi Villa.

Early goal for schalke, then why not a turn around? Deffo possible.

Not a chance in hell. Schalke had nothing to offer in the first leg and they'll have even less to offer in this. An easy 2-0 or 3-0 win for the mancs.
I trust the King, but if we lose a few more on the trot now - he may have to step aside, and we have to purchase another manager in the middle of the season. If we are relegated, this could be the end of our ambitions to win any title the next 100 years.

Reckon they'll go all out to try and get as many booked or sent off as they can as soon as Barca are leading.

No, I agree with you, just made me think back to that game and how most of us probably thought we were out of it completely, ‘how will we ever score 3’ etc etc…what a performance that was.

You’re right though, if Schalke do score first I can see United stepping it up a gear and getting one back pretty quickly. I certainly won’t be watching to see how it pans out!

Actually dreading having to watch this again, it's going to be another terrible display of sportsmanship and a bad showcase of European Football worldwide.

Read an interesting article in the Independent this morning by Pete Jensen in which he said Mourinho approached the home leg like an away tie but must now approach the away leg like a home tie.

I can't believe anyone would suggest Mourinho will or should look for damage limitation tonight. Compared to some challenges we've seen in football, 2 goals down with a squad boasting an array of attacking talent isn't impossible by any means and over the last few weeks no one can deny Barca have been struggling with fitness.

Ronaldo has to play deeper tonight, just off Higuain. He is much more effective, like Messi coming from deep and really if he wants to be thought of as up there with Messi this is a game Ronaldo has to deliver in tonight.

Going to be fascinating.

Thank God we have the pure and honest ENGLISH Premier League then to show those dirty foreigners how to play real football.

Then Barcelona are still ahead and Real still have to attack and leave Messi all that lovely space.

I'm hoping for another 5-0 and El Cunto's ritual suicide on the touchline at full time.

Ah I look forward to El Cunto threatening suicide and cries of UEFA, The World, The Universe and GOD are all against him.
Would sacrifice Fordy in a sacred Mayan ritual to have him as the next Liverpool manager

Sorry I'm a bit confused and curious on what that threat is focused on. Is it to do with torrents or something? Just asking.

Some idiot was posting the name of one of the people involved in one of the super-injunctions.
