no urge to pick terry given his age and price etc

aguero on fire is a sure thing for captain

once he is fit

only problem has always been his price and you need to basically shoehorn the team around someone so dear

I'm fine with having Aguero. When he inevitably gets an injury you sell him and AN Other and can get two big money / in form replacements.

Allen is a no no

wont get many assists or goals but will get more bookings. look for someone more attacking and in a similar price range

I'd take out Allen and Dier who won't score many points at all and swap with Capoue (£4.5m bench fodder) and one of the many decent attacking £5.5m mids on offer.

Could try Fischer or Ramirez at Boro?

Also, no need for Foster if you have Courtois.

Could go:
Foster -> Jakupovic
Allen -> Redmond
Dier -> Capoue

Suicide going without Aguero IMO.

Will sit back with a cigar and watch everyone take a -12 to get him in after his next 5 goal haul.

I have Origi for now but he's probably going out when Benteke moves to Palace

Courtois/Pickford

Valencia(or shaw)/Nsue(or Friend)/Smith/Funes Mori(or Williams/Stones

Lamela/Feghouli/Mahrez/Hazard/Deulofeu

Aguero/Origi/Gray

also have some money in the bank with that team

8.5m for Pogba seems quite reasonable. He's the most expensive midfielder on the Sky one.

Playimg for the best team in Italy by a margin, against some of the shire series a sides, he got 28 league goals. Though, he was there from a young age.

Good player but most of his quiry doesn't show up in points

Yeah I won't be having him personally as I've got Ibrahimovic. Just think it's reasonable value, he should get close to 10 goals & assists.

Stones is only 5m as well.

So I think I've settled on the following:

Goalkeepers - Courtois, Hart
Defenders - Clichy, Morgan, Simpson, Van Dijk, Dann
Midfielders - Coutinho, Hazard, Ramirez, Barkley, Ibe
Forwards - Aguero, Long, Gray

Very much geared towards week 1. Bench boost will be used and then the wildcard will probably be played ahead of week two.
And if the rain stops, and everything's dry.. she would cry, just so I could drink tears from her eyes.

Changed it from yesterday little bit. 3-5-2 formation

GK: Courtois (Pope)

Defense: Morgan, Valencia, Stones (Pieters, Paredes)

Mid: Sigurdsson, Tadic, Firmino, Hazard, Lamela

Attack: Aguero, Long (Gray)

Just wish Mane was a bit cheaper than 9mn. Right now I can only swap out Hazard if I want to bring Mane in.

Gone for this for now:

De Gea
Foster

Chambers
Terry
Stones
Baines
Pieters

Hazard
Ayew
Mane
Redmond
Leko

Aguero
Origi
Benteke

Thoughts?
Your front line looks good if all pans out, but aguero is injury prone, will Origi play enough? And what if Benteke stays haha

But it could work out great too

2 cheap

robertson is cheap and will play for hull so can go 4 at the back

daniels, alderweireld and van aahnholt were handy points scorers last year. Parades is just a back up. no need to have 5 top defenders, same as no point in having 2 great keepers

similar approach to midfield as defence. unless you want to play 5 in the middle and two up top

He didn't start the Community Shield. I think Gray is the safe bet at this stage of the season as I think Ranieri will go with the tried and tested early on.
