You can use them on MyClub mode. Not sure about any other modes.

Spent a tenner of actual money in MyClub trying to spin for an LFC legend - got myself God and Suarez, along with Mane, Origi, Crouchy, Danny Ward, Borini and El Zhar!

Am I an idiot? I suspect so, yet I feel strangely gratified.

Was tempted to keep feeding coins to the glorified slot machine until I landed Maradona, but thought better of it

Ooh is there a special Liverpool agent on? Wish I'd saved some coins, I spent 60k on spins the other day and got 5 silver right back's and an Icardi.

It's a mixture of Liverpool and Barca players, probably because I think Ian Rush is our one and only black ball; Owen possibly just sneaks in as a black, can't remember. Fowler's only a high gold, but I was still made up to have spun him (more my era than Rushy, and not an unfortunately massive twat like Owen).

Obviously Barcelona have about 30 black ball players, PES is utterly infatuated with them this year after all.

I know what you mean about getting mosty shite for positions you don't need filling - my first spin spent with real cash money on this 'Legends' special agent gave me Danny Ward, I was like wtf. I've got Buffon in goal and Kaylor Navas in reserve, the fuck am I gona do with the legendary Danny Ward? I mean sorry lad, no disrespect but you've got a fair way to go yet!

Ah, that's the one I already had my spins on. Weird you got so many Liverpool/ex-Liverpool players from it and I didn't get any (edit: just remebered one of my RB's was a Barragan). I got an Icardi from the guaranteed 81+ one and the best I got from the rest was a silver Michael Reiziger. He's alright, I converted the other 4 RB's I got into trainers and used the training points on him, but I've already got Aleix Vidal and Jerome Boateng fighting it out for RB so he's not getting a look in any time soon.

I'm desperate for a decent goalie. Still waiting for an improvement on Tim Howard since I first got the game!

I basically just kept spinning until I got someone I'd consider a LFC great, who could take pride of place in my side, that's why I ended up with quite a few. Plenty of them Barca nobodies too, but pffffffft.

Was very frustrating to start with, thought I'd blown £10 (let's face it, I still have!

), but then got Fowler and Suarez one after the other, then Mane as one of my last spins, so didn't feel to aggrieved once I'd smashed through all my coins. Highly likely that it's bent as all fuck, and only rewards suckas like me who'll throw real hard-earned notes at it!

I've not spent any real money yet but if you could guarantee Fowler and Suarez for £10 I'd snap your hand off. I thought Fowler looks mega underrated from his stats, does he play well?

Not really played much with him yet, have been more on other modes, but he is excellent to have inside the box, as you'd expect. Good first touch, and can coolly finish almost anything tossed at him without a fuss, but he's only got 4 for Form (blasphemy!!), so there'll probably the odd games where he can't hit a barn door.

7.99 is a bargain. Iv just recently started hammering Master League again. Finally took Forest into the prem 2nd time of asking on superstar, not had a bad start but next year they really need to work on the finances in the game.

Enjoying this so far except I'm terrible at scoring. I'm good at winning the ball, moving it around, but then I get to the box and things get real congested. I'm not looking for cheap ways to score, but does anyone know the most productive method of attack? Find myself passing it round the edge of the box too much.

Crossing generally works for me. Also quick one twos round the box, through balls sometimes. I tend to use l1 to initiate one of my players making a run and go from there. But if you've got a decent sized forward I've noticed crossing is generally a good way to score.

Yeah through balls are your best bet, slightly overpowered on this game, especially early through balls with the centre half.

For those that haven't done it already, PES Universe have excellent option files.

Does this happen regularly? Should I be wary of the game installing updates?

Installing an option file from PES Universe now.

A patch will overwrite your PES Universe data if you accept it, fake kits and all. Just delete it. Always play from your last save. Totally forgot tho with months away.

Have you tried playing the game on -2 speed settings? It's really good. You can build up moves and time tackles really well, for that Gegenpressing groove.

Have also done a shit tonne of ideal transfers for Liverpool. Welcome Matuidi, Dries Meertens, Van Djik and that Croatian left-winger.

About ten games into my Master League now. Really enjoying it so far, every game feels different and I find it genuinely rewarding to score goals and win games.

I bought this even though I have it on PS3 it seems very similar, in fact identical other than the improved graphics. Does anyone know if the gameplay is superior on the PS4?

Been playing a lot of Master League recently. Very fun except I'm almost certain there's a handicap in place when you face bigger teams.

I was playing as Preston in the Championship, struggling to get into the play-offs, drawing a ton of league games or sneaking narrow victories. Eventually got promoted through the play offs.

Meanwhile I win the FA Cup by beating Liverpool 3-0, Leicester 3-0, Arsenal 2-1 with 10 men, Chelsea 3-0 and Spurs 2-1. Just played the Community Shield and hammered Man City 4-0.

My team is full of players rated in the 70's and yet I'm smashing these teams full of superstars. Just feels like they lower the difficulty significantly when faced with a "big" side. Ruins the fun completely. I'd lower the difficulty but it's perfect for every other game. A real challenge against most teams, just boringly easy against the better ones.

Looks lovely. It'd be amazing if someone could faithfully replicate most of the Euro 96 and France 98 era kits (including Scotland's classic dark tartan number!).

If you apply these files, will they show for all those teams on a current save, like partway through a Master League career, or even in myClub? I'd quite like to play in a different era's style every season, and pretend it's just that year's new kit and sponsor
