Champions League Matchday dates 14/15
« on: April 25, 2014, 08:58:47 am »
To make me feel better about not having a ticket for any of the remainder of games - does anyone have the usual matchdays/dates that CL games are played on?

I think anyone that went to Udinese should get sorted for all - It was far too cold that night i'm still recovering.
If he scores more goals than Torres this season ill change me name to Carol.

Can't wait for this.

I've enrolled in auto cup for home games for this on season ticket, I've got Europa homes on it but nothing away, what's the criteria for getting away tickets for next season UCL.

Do I need to join anything or fill a form in through LFC .
Any advice appreciated

No, don't need to join owt. Being a Member may help but will be the usual previous Euro aways taken into account first, with how far back they go depending on allocation/size of ground, Season ticket holders always get first dibs too. From what i can tell interest is going to be high after our little break from the competition, so i'd be surprised if anyone who hasn't been to a European away game before can pick up a ticket UNLESS we draw a team with a big allocation (i.e Barca) where the criteria works it's way down to all members.

Euros away will be based on europa league away credits from two years ago.

Euros home will not have no previous credits needed.

Welshred got a response from Bob Humpheries re european tickets, (Bob is the chairman of the LFC supporters group that liaises with the club).

European away - priority will be given to those who have got Europa League away credits from two years ago.
European home - no priority from previous years.

Not sure if this is subject to change but Welshred put this on one of the RAWK forums over a month ago.

Anyone know how many we sold for 4 aways in 12/13?

In the St Petersburg game we only sold a few hundred I imagine it was about the same for Makhachkala. I know the allocation for Udinese was 1600. Did it sell out? Anyone know what it was for Young Boys, f I remember rightly that sold out.

Our end was barely half full for Young Boys so unless loads bought and didn't go I doubt it sold out.

Ok so it looks like one away from that season will guarantee away for at least the first group game. Unless we get Anderlecht when it might be touch and go.

The big away from pot one I would expect any one who wants one to get one if they're on the ball. If we get a team like Vitoria Plzen (Man City only got 700 tickets last year) then it will be difficult.

I've never been to a European game.

Definately have to seize the opportunity this season. Super excited.

Should Membership be enough to get home and away tickets?

From pot one (final pots subject to seeded teams coming through qualifying rounds, Arsenal and Porto specifically) we will face one of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Porto, Benfica, Bayern Munich. This is likely to be the game with the biggest allocation and also the most popular. Anyone with one credit from 2 years ago will be sorted, and there will be some left over after that.

From pot 2 and pot 4 it is a little less predictable. We could get Dortmund from pot 2 which would be a good allocation, and Roma from pot 4 which would also be a decent allocation although a few people might not fancy that. However we could end up with Basel/Leverkusen from pot 2 and Anderlecht from pot 4 which would be small allocations and fairly easy to get to, making tickets hard to come by.

In short it really depends who we get. I would say at least one game will drop to no credits, but it may be season ticmets before members in that instance. 28th August is the big day when we find out.

Napoli will be in pot 3 if they win the play off round, so we can't get them. Juventus or Roma wouldn't be much fun either. They should all be fuckin banned.

If we draw an Italian team I will not even be tempted to go, not worth the risk after seeing what's happened to English fans recently

Sparta Prague is on a roll currently, beat one of my city's club 7-0.. goes without saying though that Estonians club footy is shit, but still Prague was impressive, they can go all the way to CL groups I believe

Dependent on location, I'll probably do the same if the timing works. If anything, it's an excuse to see a new city/country and hopefully get to watch the game.

I am thinking similiar, why I am hoping we get Dortmund or a Portuguese team as would love to go those places and atmosphere in city won't be moody like it would in somewhere like Turin or Naples

Anywhere that is moody won't sell out anyway. Hopefully Zenit lose their qualifier, they are 1-0 down from the first leg. Another cuntish club that should be banned from Europe indefinitely.

If we get somewhere close and with a small allocation such as Anderlecht, there will be more without tickets than tickets.
