Then his price triples. For £5m hes worth the risk, if it didn't work you'd get your money back.

I think it would be a good idea to do what Chelsea did with Alex. They got him from a Brazilian team, loaned him to a top Dutch team(PSV) for three seasons and he was ready for their first team. We could buy Tadic, let him play at Ajax for three seasons and then get him back.

Yeah maybe, but thats the creative thinking we lack in transfers.

Yeah then chelsea signed their best talent in january. Maybe our link with Genk has ended?

Surprised he never moved on to another league. A bit like Naldo at Bremen in that respect. Not nearly as talent as Naldo before he got injured, but clearly a player with potential.
He wanted to get a Dutch passport. He's married with a Dutch girl, has Dutch kids with here and has an own shop here. He wants to return to the Netherlands to settle here with his wife and kids when he retires.  That's probably the reason why he stayed in the Eredivisie.  He has one now so I won't be surprised if he leaves. He can as well play for the Dutch NT after Euro 2012, he probably will since I can't name a Dutch defender who's better than him.

I like Ola John, quick winger who can give some great crosses. The fact he can give crosses with both his left and right leg makes him a little bit more special than Narsingh for example. Tadic isn't sold 'yet', Groningen is also talking with Udinese but Dutch teams normally don't like doing business with Italian teams since they might not give you your money back.

Cocu & Faber will replace PSV's coach Fred Rutten untill the end of this season, Dick Advocaat is the main target for next year after "some" PSV fans spoke for all PSV fans and said they don't want Louis v. Gaal.

Given the lack of genuine quality for Holland in their back four, he'd definitely be an upgrade over what they currently have.

Aussie Brett Holman from AZ is moving to Aston Villa on a bosman in the summer. Should be a decent pickup on a free, he actually went to my school.

i been reading some good stuff about luciano narsingh, for those who've seen him how far do you think he can he go?

On his way back to Ajax apparently, we'll see from there on.. because Ajax is a bit hit and miss with their wingers lately especially considering the ones they have send away have all been selected for the Dutch team (Elia, Lens, Narsingh etc. while Boerrigter was another one that Ajax had to bring back)

Can anyone explain to me what the issue between Ajax and El Hamdaoui is?

Fiorentina appear to have renewed their interest in the player after the comic collapse of his January move but I'm concerned that he might be...uh, a basketcase.

And when he can be bothered to actually play football, what position(s) does he play and does he do anything especially well/poorly?

It's absolutely terrible for all parties involved. He is the highest paid player in the league but once Martin Jol resigned and Frank de Boer took over as manager he was sent to the Ajax reserves a couple of times because of his behaviour. From the start to this season he hasn't been out of the Reserves and thus hasn't played a single game this season.

You'd say he'd want to leave and he does. Fiorentina had a deal done with him until his agent, a completely deluded man, demanded a fee of a million Euros, after which the Italians took the first plane home and now he's still rotting in the reserves.

Then to answer the question: he prefers to play behind the strikers and does have great skill .
It's just sex and violence, melody and silence.

It's the "behaviour" I'm concerned about.  What did he do?

Fiorentina already have Kharja and have apparently been offered Chamakh so we might turn into Casablanca Toscana by summer's end.

You can compare him to El Hadji Diouf, to save me explaining.

really? what a coup.

Heard nothing of it.

Ricky Van Wolfswinkel looks set to miss out on the Euro's not even getting a look in apparently. Any one want to elaborate as to why?

The main forwards I can see going are

- Robin Van Persie
- Klaas Jan Huntelaar
- Luuk De Jong
- Bost (at push)

He was in a Dutch tv show last weekend and more or less confessed that his agent had talked to Arsenal. Vertonghen and Siem were also in London when Arsenal played Milan to cheer on former Ajax players Vermaelen, Emanuelson, Zlatan and Seedorf.

Bert van Marwijk is pretty biased and loyal to the older players like Kuyt and van Bommel, those two always start no matter what form they are in. Luuk de Jong is probably seen as a perfect pinch-hitter due to his size/height, but I would prefer to have van Wolfswinkel on the bench since he is more experienced. Van Wolfswinkel and Dost doesn't really get a look in so their chances of making the squad are pretty slim. Future looks very bright though.

I think Holland's squad will look a little like this;

GK: Stekelenburg, Vorm, Krul
DF: van der Wiel, Bouhlarouz, Heitinga, Bruma, Mathijsen, Vlaar, Emanuelson, Pieters
MF: van Bommel, VDV, Sneijder, Strootman, Schaars, Nigel de Jong,
FW: Robben, Huntelaar, RVP, Afellay, Kuyt, Luuk de Jong

Eriksen is not keen on England, he wants to join Barcelona one day. He turned down Barcelona for Ajax, but they are still keeping tabs on him. Fischer wants to make it at Ajax first before joining another club.

He's transfer free at the end of this season. Set to join Sporting Lisbon who already have 2 Dutch players in van Wolfswinkel and Schaars who have impressed. They are after more Dutchies, Dost was linked with them as well.

I think we would have gone in for him if Agger got injured every 2 minutes, which he hasn't this season, apart from his ribs.

Yeah
only seen him at cb realy..he could cover for jose with fabio going and maybe robbo needing a little protecting..and would be another option dm.. i just dont know to be honest do we need sign another defender? we'll carra seb dan and martin..robbo,flanno,johno can all play lb to a good standard..then you'v kells wisdom wilson all knocking around as cover at cb..imagine having luxury of vertonghen stepping in when dan injured..near seamless transition not losing the ball playing ability at lcb.. be some luxury but for me we'v 4 other types of player to sign before a cb.what would he's asking price be?

Vertonghen (like Daley Blind and Vernon Anita) is a converted midfielder. His strength certainly lies in his flexibility or total football aspects, he can practically play anywhere and his goal today was a testament of that.

Pretty much. Wasn't his best game against Scotland though, but over here in Holland we blame it on their coach. Holland U21's were back to back European champions and this current coach has failed to even qualify for a tournament so we all want someone else in.
