Nice assist for Teixeira against Bournemouth

Lovely pass, but still a defeat for Sami.

I speak French and I've been reading the lille forums on Origi, despite missing his peno tonight, a lot of them are defending him, saying he's got it all to do for the team and there's too much pressure on him, but despite that is still doing well generally.

They also mentioned that he seems to have lost a bit of concentration since signing for us, and he's relying on his pure talent of speed and dribbling to get him out of situations instead of thinking tactically. A couple of them compared him to Aubameyang and Mirallas.

I'm also going to watch Bordeaux against marseille in a couple of weeks so I'll post on here how ilori does!

Looking liek a good loan the Ibe one.

Whatever league we send our players to in england I hope it is to teams who have ambitions of getting out of their respective league. I think the pressures of being in a team that is expecte dto win can really help the youngsters push on

I hope we start building relationships with specific teams - Derby, Brighton etc. They play good football and have good managers who will continue our young lads development. Would happily send 1/2 players to both teams each season, would be brilliant if say Derby got promoted and we could continue with Ibe there for a season etc.

Hopefully we can have more standardised two year progressions as seems to be happening with Wisdom

 - Decent Championship side (Derby)

 - Mid-table Prem (WBA)

 - Us.

Yeah he's playing a lot and contributing to a side at the top of a very competitive League. Derby seem to play some good stuff too. Definitely a good move all round that one. If they come up this season (I hope they do) I wonder if we'll give him another year there?

I'm excited by the look of the loans this year. Wisdom playing regular first team football in the prem is brilliant, Origi looks like a very shrewd signing and its great he's playing as the key man at a top French side, Ibe also playing a key role in a very good Derby team.

Those three returning for next preseason will be great to watch and hopefully add that pace in attack we've been missing.

Apparently Ibe scored a cracker though, anyone got a video?

Big decision to be made regarding Wisdom during the summer, Johnson's gone we know that, there's no way he'll be here next season but even so it's difficult to guess where Andre will find himself in the pecking order with Manquillo and Flanagan. At the moment I'd say they're all about equal, with each one having fairly different strengths and weaknesses. Could be a real battle for that rightback spot next season, if all three are still here.

There`s no doubt he`s got some way to go and a lot of developing to do especially if he wants to play a lot for us - and I`m rooting for him to achieve that as I`m really starting to miss seeing Liverpool strikers scoring and bossing games - but if he doesn`t reach that level when the next season starts and he doesn`t take the chance to prove himself it might be an awkward situation as he would really need games to keep developing.

Like I said I really hope he makes it as his attributes could really be effective for us in this league and I hope it all works out well for both him and us.

He's started 5 of the last 8 league games so getting a fair run.

The scary part is he's 6th months younger than Sterling. Is there another teenage leading the line regularly in one of Europe's big leagues? Timo Werner but he's more of a winger. Martial for Monaco sometimes but he's very much behind Berbatov

It's mental when you think about it. He's getting a hell of a lot of experience for his age. Hopefully playing for a poor team like Lille will help add some clinical-ness to his game.

Sterling, Sturridge, Ibe, Origi will give us some pace in the side and a strong bench next season.

Tex will probably be loaned to a prem side next season as will ilori.

Wisdom will probably make a perm move to Wes Brom with us having first refuse if he blossoms into a top prem defender.

thanks for that. good to see he is getting some pretty reasonable minutes. I always feels he's a few years younger than what he actually is due to his back injury. Still think he could have a part to play with us at some point.
