Ipod conversion
« on: November 13, 2008, 06:17:33 pm »
Right, I'm sure this has been mentioned before countless times but to be perfectly honest I just dodnt know what to search for  :-\

I've never had an ipod, always had a zen. All my music is in either wma or mp3 format. Do both these play on an ipod, and if not is there much hassle converting to the correct format that will. My knowledge of all things Apple is non existent I'm afraid  :wave

I think they play both. WMA will obviously take up a lot more space though.

iPod will only play the mp3s, you will not be able to put the wma files onto the ipod. however, itunes will conveniently convert all the wma files to mp3 (or similar) for your listening pleasure.
