Who ever H Bellamy on twitter is a relative to Craig and said he's travelled with his wife but won't be playing.

Suarez and Lucas are the only 2 I feel needs the rest the most and I'd rest Agger .

But feel Kenny is going to at a strong side

we have a week until our next game.  i think KK will start lucas but maybe bring him off after 70?

we want to win this.

unless they've made up their mind to sell him and don't want him getting injured before the window opens?

doubt that! 50 mil and less than a year! the same with AC! too early to still make those judgments i think!

Isnt it too early to start doing that?:P
Dont know what the situation is with him,but he wouldnt be lasting long there, that's a cert.

agreed - total speculation.  i hope he doesn't start to be fair.  he looked sharp before he picked up that red card.

its a bit like joe cole for us: after his red card on the first day of the season he never got another look in really.

Its refreshing to see how strong our 'B' team is now.

The irony sometimes is that the B team seems a lot better than our A, especially when we draw against weaker opponents and win against teams like Chelsea with our squad players(if I may say).

Your best bet is to wait untill midknight and watch it on LFCTV. Just try not to find out the score beforehand.

Yea I suppose thats true, but then when less are expected of teams they seem to overachieve.

I was juts thinking of the players that will probably be playing tonight, Maxi, Carroll, Carra, Kelly, Aurelio (is he fit??),Spearing possibly Dirk. This time last year those players were all on out starting line up. Its just nice to see a greater strength in depth within the squad.

At least the hystiria over being bumped for Man Utd v Crystal Palace has died down now everyone has realised we're on different days.

I think we should play our best side on the basis that Chelsea may think that we won't and they will want to rest players too. We have until the weekend to rest the players and then we can choose some of the "B" team to play Fulham. Not that I'd underestimate Fulham I just think we can do well against them with whoever doesn't play tonight.

Take Chelsea by surprise by playing exactly the same team....errmmmm.....

Actually maybe that's not such a good idea....

Arsenal v City is on SS2.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

We could never "over-achieve" as we are expected to put up a fight everytime and possibly come with the 3points regardless of who we are playing against.
Tonight seems like a stern test for the players who are willing to start more games and probably few of our youth, although, winning is the priority for either side.

Reina

Kelly - Carragher - Skrtel/Coates - Enrique

[right-mid] - Spearing - [centre-mid] - Maxi

Bellamy - Carroll

Don't think Aurelio is fit and someone said Agger hasn't travelled. Spearing is a shoe-in for this IMO - as is Enrique if no other LB has travelled.

If none of the 11 who started on Sunday were to start tonight, then the strongest 11 I think we could name would be:

                         Doni

     Kelly     Coates     Carra     Wilson

               Spearing     Coady

     Maxi                              Bellamy

               Carroll     Eccleston

...assuming Aurelio, Robinson and Gerrard are all still out!

I don't think the changes will be that drastic though, but better off to have low expectations for the teamsheet tonight! This way, I can only be pleasantly surprised

Interestingly only Coates and Flanagan of the available first team players aren't listed there which is probably about right if we want to win this. Actually no Spearing either though I expect him to play a part.

Expect a really storng team, something like

Kelly Carra Skrtel Enrique/Johnson

   Hendo Lucas Adam Maxi

          Bellamy  Carroll

Bellamy and Carroll could be that little-big partnership we've been looking for IMO.

Be interesting to see how they do without Suarez on the pitch tonight if he's (hopefully) rested.
