If anything to go by, always buy tickets after auto cup scheme payments have failed, tickets available all over the ground including pairs in the kop. Gives me a little bit of hope that 3 games will be guaranteed for a potential final.

I'd be surprised if it was mate. Stoke semi last season had two sales which were guaranteed and there wasn't any for this year which is why I think so many got sorted with two games for the final last season.

3 Games will be fine. Last year those on 3 were guaranteed a ticket. I'd imagine will be the same this year. Will go 4+, then 3+, then ballot for 2

There's 9,000 extra seats at Anfield this season, with only Leeds out the three homes taking the full 6,000.

ABSOLUTE MINIMUM 40000 with all 3 homes. More corporates, usual ex players and sponsors etc. There will not be tickets for everyone with 3, simple as that.

Anyway, lets win this tie first. All hypothetical right now

These were my thoughts as well. Then I just found the article last year and 97% of people with 2 got sorted. I don't think everyone with 3 will be fine but I think a fairly high percentage will be.

Can see them splitting up STH, members and FCH for a potential final.

STH's with all homes have been given priority over Members with all homes for previous Wembley games.

I thought they weren't split up for the League cup last year?

They have done that in the past but they didn't last season.

Last season it was everyone with 2 matches in the ballot.

In 2012 season tickets with all homes were given priority for both cup finals. First cup finals since Athens fallout though. Last season everyone was in together in the ballot for Basel and Wembley

Villa semi in 2015 was tiered so ST with both homes were guaranteed. members with 2 homes was a ballot.

Will be annoying if we make it and I don't get sorted on 3 being as I've done every single game home and away, thems the breaks I guess.

I'm fairly sure that he's saying that he's been to them all but only the Homes are on his own card.

oh ok.... fair point then, agree with him, but one of the drawbacks of using others' cards..... but good on him as he just wants to support the team in each game...

Burton away! We were the ones who took you home. Have done Derby and got Southampton too. Fingers crossed we make it first and then all get sorted on three homes.

Thanks again fella wasn't sure who you were on here mate. Yeah all about tomorrow and the second leg obviously first and foremost!

Like Shanklygates implies I'm happy enough doing the aways regardless of any prospective final, especially Burton and Derby as I had never been just obviously with a potential final looming and you know it will mention games attended you do have an eye on it. Same last year but I got sorted with the homes just worried about the extra Anfield ticket IF we make it. I know the deal when I get an away ticket though!

They have taken the right hand side of the anny (as you look at it from the kop, closer to kemlyn).
Same as Stoke did last year

I hope so as well. Might just crank up the pressure a bit on Southampton. I know they are used to playing at Anfield but doubt they will have received such a reception before.

Should defo do it. Southampton will would have never seen anythubf like it.

Really thought the Dortmund one really made a difference during the game, might have added that extra motivation . In saying that, think we win all 3 games we done it last season in Europa. Should defo do it for this.

Do we know why this is being done in the EFL cup but not the PL?

Prob because the barrier on the concourse is easier to take back that way as they already segregate 1,500/3,000 away followings on that side, meaning Southampton have taken an allocation of roughly 4,500

In the Premier League we only have to give them 3000 tickets and hence all we do give away teams as a maximium, for EFL Cup games they are entitled to 5,400 (10%) and thus the normal away concourse doesn't suit, so its swapped over if they want more than 3000 but less than the whole lower tier, teams in the FA cup are entitled to 8,100 (15%)

How there are seats for this still I'll never know. You have to scramble for a dull PL home game. This is a cup semi final second leg 1-0 down and all to play for  ???

What I don't get is that Tottenham and Leeds tickets went like wildfire yet a semi final isn't selling out?

Its the start of a new holiday year for most meaning people wont want to use days straight away in January and with Chelsea a night match a week later.
