Always liked him. Everyone talks about his work rate, but he's underrated skill-wise. Hopefully he'll
combine well with Hendo in the centre of the midfield.

I keep reading about how well Milner links up with Silva (and we saw it first hand in that 3-2 game). Hopefully he can strike up something similar with Coutinho who's the closest type of player we have to Silva.

Nice to get a good signing in early, one that it seems the vast majority are happy with.

Not the most inspiring but have always liked him as he always seem to be like a livewire. We have too many player who do not join in the attack so this might mean we have someone who can replace gerrard's goals from midfield. We need to think of replacing players like Allen though.

Milner's off the ball movement is pretty decent I think and if the players are on the same wavelength it can be quite a good combination.

People underestimate Milners contribution in City, and he rarely get praised in a team with players with more flair.

As Michael Cox wrote: "it's baffling that midfielder James Milner isn't an automatic starter, especially in big games. Silva provides the brains, Milner the brawn, and the most memorable City performance of the past four years -- the 6-1 win vs. Manchester United at Old Trafford in 2011 -- came largely because these two combined brilliantly. Milner linking up with for example Coutinho would be excellent, and I really look forward to seeing him at Liverpool. Think he will surprise a few people
