http://www.google.com/calendar/ical/jesavj9vg0f3t53f8dvfo9kl18367nll%40import.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics

Alternatively, send yourself an email with the following link (NOTE: webcal:// NOT http://):
Code: [Select]
webcal://www.google.com/calendar/ical/jesavj9vg0f3t53f8dvfo9kl18367nll%40import.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics
and click on it in Mail on the iPhone. It'll ask you if you want to subscribe. Click "Subscribe". Rock out.

I can't seem to change the original description or name of the calendar (from a couple of seasons ago) without changing the URLs and therefore breaking it for everyone currently subscribed, but the actual events (matches) are being updated correctly.

I didn't actually mean to post that. I was still testing something out and I accidentally deleted half of what I'd written and posted it.

Basically, if you mail yourself this link:

http://www.google.com/calendar/ical/jesavj9vg0f3t53f8dvfo9kl18367nll%40import.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics

and click on it in Mail, it will subscribe. It DOESN'T work in Safari for some reason.

This is great, i've saved the file and imported it into my outlook 2003

The subscription is a bit of a head scratcher for me. I've installed the add on, but not getting the appropriate icon on my toolbar above.
What I love about this, and several other of Kenny's press conferences, is that he manages to say something to the effect of  'Shut the fuck up, you fucking helmets and don't fuck with me or my football club or I'll make you eat your own balls', without actually using th

Afraid I can't help you there with Outlook, but I'm sure someone will be along.

Of course, you'll have to re-download and update by hand. If you can live without the results, you'll only need to do it every month or so to get any fixture alterations due to Sky.

Mozilla users can also use this. I just subscribed through Lightning (the calendar extension for Thunderbird). Very cool!

Absolutely. iCalendar is an open, standard format, so it should work with any calendar application that supports subscriptions.

I'm away this weekend, so the calendar won't update as usual (the script runs on my computer, which will be off). No need to panic. Everything will be back to normal by Monday evening.

I'm looking into ways to keep the calendar updated when my computer's off.

How do you do these funny subscription based calendars then?

I asked ages ago on the .tv twitter for one about dates of sale for games, cos I am that stupid. Nothing's been done so I was thinking of making one meself and might aswell share the love.

Edit: Added all the games there's info for on .tv and made it a group so if you're a member you can hide the STH sales, or if you're a general sale scavenger like meself you can hide everything but the generals.

Can someone try this link and see if it works: http://nands.clairechambers.co.uk/LFC/LFC%20Ticket%20Sales.ics

Couldn't work out how to get mobileme to sync subscribed calenders. Didn't work with the bank holiday calender I have either. But I should have realised that itunes would do it too!! I did say that I was being dim.

Thanks for the hint.

Thanks for this, I have it in my calender, but can't find how to get rid of some of the dates like you say!?

And, does this automatically update or do we need to keep going to a new link? Thanks

Excellent - appreciate having this.  Only way to improve would be if someone could add in or do separate cl & cup ticket sales calendar as they become available.
But appreciate that would mean regular (or irregular knowing the ticket office) updating.
Luck favours the brave, but not the stupid.

Meh! They've redesigned the LFC homepage, so the calendar isn't updating right now. Hopefully, it'll be working again by tomorrow.

I've updated the script. It appears to be working okay for me, but please let me know if you're having any problems.

The calendar now tells you if upcoming matches are on TV. The exact channel is in the event description.

Don't see the TV stuff in the description using Lightning and Thunderbird (assuming its this calendar - http://www.google.com/calendar/ical/jesavj9vg0f3t53f8dvfo9kl18367nll%40import.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics)

Started working now. Maybe I had to delete the old calendar first as Lightning might have been getting confused.

This works for me in Google Calendar. It does say the Fiorentina game isn't televised, but I'm guessing that's not your fault, as it works for the Arsenal game after that.

If you mean the 9/12 game, no that's not my fault--there's no TV info on the official page. If you mean the other game, then it is my fault.

The Thunderbird one (Lightning) allows multiple calendars but not groups (I presume you mean a hierarchy of calendars so you can filter out whole segments in one click?)
