I disagree. Not even halfway through the season and 7 points off top if the result stands. To say the next 45 minutes makes or breaks our chances is silly

its not going to make or break our season but it kind of all adds up to where we are heading.

More dropped points here and we are 7 off the top. 2 wins and a draw that we need to achieve and chelsea to slip up.

That big hole in front of our back four keeps appearing like clockwork. Their tactic of launching it into the channels for Antonio is crude but effective, too.

Klopp should be protecting Karius and taking him out the firing line for a few games, let the pressure and scrutiny die down.

We all hope and look at DeGae as an example (even though he was much younger than Karius) and he was taken out the firing line on a few occasions in high profile games to protect him.

You can ruin a player, especially a keeper, by not protecting him when he is clearly down.

It was a pretty good freekick from Payet, and I could not see if he was too hesitant on the second, or not. Conceding 6 goals in his last 90 minutes of football must fell great, and most of us is on his back.

How the fuck does he fit us better than Mignolet? Because he pulls out a nice pass every 20-30 mins? He's costing us goals, I'm not sure how you could possibly ever interpret that as a positive for our side regardless of the other aspects of his game.

Anyone who said they didn't care how good he was as long as he wasn't Mignolet was a whopper. I said earlier in the season I didn't think Mignolet deserved to be dropped on the basis of his performances, and now Karius is actively costing us points I think it's time to bring Mignolet back in.

I think you forget just how diabolical Mignolet was. 19th ranked in the league last year (of the 20 teams' first choice goalkeepers) for % shots saved. Everything went past him. It was at the point where shot = goal; almost comical. Have patience with Karius, though I agree he's costing us points atm

Watch it again, the deflection takes it away from Matip. Karius goes to come and rush the ball, he stops and goes on the back foot, Antonio taps it over him. If he goes with his first instinct and rushes the ball Antonio doesn't get to compose himself for the finish. It reeks of no confidence and it's nowhere near good enough for Liverpool Football Club.

He's now being hammered for not coming out full blooded, which he does pretty much every time, after a deflection and, if not anything the defender could necessarily have done, certainly a situation that was damn hard for the keeper to read?

That one was a tough break for Karius and for us, but Mignolet sure as fuck wouldn't have done any differently there.
