Moment is silence observed for those who lost their lives in the horrific plane crash today.

Meaningful for our captain tonight, Lucas.
I watched a YouTube video and decided that Paul Konchesky looked like a player.

3' We lost possession for a few seconds, Leeds with a chance to break, Migs makes a good stop, chipped have been 0-1 Leeds.

4' Mané breaks at the other end, looks to be pushed off the ball but completes his pass to Can, who finds Origi, but it comes to nothing. We try again, both sides looking to play football, nice to see after the past two weekends....

7' Origi tries a cute one two but it is over ran, Leeds gain possession but one of our youngsters close them off, and again. Reminder for those who have been living under a rock in the middle of the South China Sea, Liverpool are undefeated in 14 matches.

Foul outside the Leeds box, play on by the ref.... might have liked the free kick.

:thumbup both teams blamming the ball around - no half measures tonight.

Must confess to feeling nervous everytime Mane goes down...

10' Mané given a talking to by the ref for a theatrical tumble. Leeds have another shot, low and easily collected by Migs.

12' Gini has a half volley and the Leeds keeper has to parry it away for a corner. Which comes to nothing. Leeds will not be able to sustaine this kind of pressure all match.

17' Lucas is tough as nails. Makes a brilliant tackle at the by line to keep the ball in play and prevent a Leeds corner.

Kevin Stewart is tripped up, we build and hold off Leeds, ball falls to moreno who has a shot in the box, blocked by the shins of a Leeds player.

We're looking bright, but are being somewhat stymied by Leeds at the moment.

20' Leeds players keep tackling and fouling Mané, which makes me furious. But we have a free kick level with the box but on the edge of the pitch, taken well but knocked away, we get another stab at it but again no dice. Trent AA is in the box looking to connect in a meaningful way,  but he doesn't.

23' Mané Miss touches and Leeds take the ball, which we regain bit not for long. A long high cross by Leeds, knocked away smartly for a throw in by AA.

25' Leeds ride their luck as the ball falls kindly in the box, out for a corner, taken, Migs tries to clear but Collins in the air, ball falls again to a Leeds player who has a pop at goal, blocked by Gini.

29' Liverpool throw in, Can let's Moreno take but then he (Can) passes to short. But is forgiven by causing a handball on Phillips (recent sub in for O'Kane) and we try again....

30' Klavan knocks the ball out for a Leeds throw in, leads to a corner as Moreno is not judged to have been fouls in the box, reply shows he was nudged in the back. Corner cleared.

33' - We've plenty of possession but Leeds are well organised. Case in point, Klavan works the ball to Moreno who passes it well to Mane on the opposite side, but he's closed down very quickly and the ball is recycled.

34' - Ejaria dribbles into the box but then passed the ball into no man's land. Leeds have fallen into a pattern that is set to become depressingly common at Anfield - 10/11 behind the centre line

40' - Leeds with a break down the right. Now, unless my eyes are deceiving me, the fella with #11 on his back looks finished.

Leeds earn a corner from a deflected shot into traffic. Easily cleared and Origi breaks down the right, caught on the edge of the box and goes down, but the ref waves it on - Klopp is furious

45+1' - AA passes to Origi from the right hand corner, but the ball gets stuck and nothing comes of it.  Can with a lovely chip seconds before the whistle that ends up in the goalies hands.

48' Mane and AA with some good interplay. Can to Mane who gets it to Origi's feet in the box but he's crowded out by 3 Leeds players and eventually they shepherd the ball away.

52' - and that was inches away from Leeds taking the lead. Very sloppy play from Gini  and then Stewart to leave Mignolet stranded. Ball bounces back into play off the post and eventually, after more scrambling, out for a GK.

Klopp standing now with his serious face on. I don't think he's too impressed.
