Bad luck our best two players at breaking down a bus like this are injured. However, still time to nick a goal and win this, need to continue the urgency we showed in the last 10 minutes.

We've been poor. So many wrong decisions.
Hopefully Coutinhos injury won't be as bad as it seemed.

Also, Sunderland are allowed to play however they want and they're doing the right thing by playing defensively. I don't know why people whine about it, they don't have resources either, so it's not like the time Chelsea was time wasting from the second minute in 13-14. It's up to us to score and we haven't been good enough.

Moyse being lauded for showing no ambition, well done.

Think Origi is a decent option for this, seen as Sunderland show no fucking ambition. Such a shite, pointless club. Can't wait for their relegation.

I don't know what's happened to Can this season, he was great last season but this year a couple of goals have masked some really poor performances.

Same pattern of play all to often played by us for the past 20 odd years or so. Huff and puff but not invention, no creativity and no imagination.

This is why we aren't good enough to win the title.

What has this team got to do with any of the teams from the previous 20 years?

No intensity, bizzare decision making.

I'd get Moreno on because at least he would run in a forward facing direction. Out midfield and forward line have took the way a way out time and time again, so much in fact that Matip is currently our fucking playmaker!!!!

Yep decision making is poor today can looks a touch off phil looks like hes broken his ankle and no studge on the bench..

Its going to take an extra special effort second half

Lallana is a really big miss to our team.

Also, who's the commentator who is trying to bang the 'Matip isn't good in possession' drum? Absolute moron.

not as good as john "nesta backenbauer" stones obviously.

we look weary to be honest and our decision making is poor so far.

Coutinho and Lallana obviously big miss. Our midfield trio is a bit to similar as already mentioned a million times before.

Emre forcing the play and trying to make things happen is the only positives so far.

80% percent possession and up against a row of nine white shirts on the edge of their box. Absolute nailed on nil nil. Moyes was never gonna set his team up to play anything remotely resembling football - my concern now is that teams will just do this to us every week now. Tiring to watch.

I'm more annoyed about the injury to Coutinho though. That did not look good.

Only one team is interested in playing football.

We haven't played much football though have we. We have kept trying  to play diagonals, our crosses haven't got past the first man, when we've had an opportunity to open them up we've put our foot on the ball and gone sideways. Making it easy for Sunderland to park a bus.

Thought we were quite poor the first 35 minutes. Origi coming on has helped...
I think he's the one player who's decision making hasn't been mince in the final third so far, at times in that half Matip was our best attacker, and he's been imperious.

I love Can's willingness and energy but his execution has been very poor, Mane is having an off game. Firmino looks like he's woken up, though, and we were much better in that last few minutes - starting to knock on the door.

It's the most frustratingly I've seen us play for a while though - we look stupid again, something I thought we'd kind of knocked out of our play.

For the second match in a row I can't help but feel Moreno would have been a better choice - again that space has been wide open down the left all match and Milner's only attacked it once. He's a quality, reliable player but do we really need a Mr reliable against a team with no intention of attacking? And where the lack of width he offers also forces Firmino - so dangerous in tight spaces - out wide?

A word on the referee too, mind, and that word is: Shite. Disgusting that Sunderland haven't had a booking yet.

Still, if we get one I'm still confident we'll knack them.
He is the cat who walks by himself, and all roads are alike to him.

Bored of the bus parking now.

Do you really expect anything different? Teams like Sunderland will do this.

It's down to us to break them down. Still think we will win.

I am starting to agree with those saying we should be bringing on Moreno for Milner. We need some attacking flair and pace going forward. However, I am not optimistic that Klopp will make any changes until the 75th minute. Hope we come out with all guns blazing.

Got "one of those days" written all over it. Coutinho with what looks a horrific injury (broken ankle..?), meanwhile we've looked sloppy and offered zero threat. Very reminiscent of Burnley - loads of possession but zero patience and constantly making the wrong decisions. What are we going to achieve with constant lofted balls into the area? Very little I'd say. From our midfield looking great it currently looks very pedestrian and Mane has been off the pace. At least Origi looks up for it.

Ugh.
