Take that, Moyes. You bitter blueshite, double-decker bus parking anti-football gobshite.  :wanker

Hope Phil makes a quick recovery.

Get in.

We need Lallana and Sturridge back fit as soon as possible.

Great win. Only negative is Coutinho

That win will have cheered him up massively. Hopefully the injury isn't too serious, but we have the squad to cope without him and he'll be doing his very best to come back as soon as possible.

Clean sheet, job done, let's hope Coutinho isn't out for too long and Lallana can make it back for the next league match.

Get the fuck in. Origi with something out of nothing was the difference between this and last week, felt very similar, but when you have our attacking quality and teams sit back we've always got a good chance of breaking them down eventually.

Great to see Woddburn get a first of hopefully may appearances.

I was literally on my knees praying for a win.

Thank you Moyes for giving us our first win and clean sheet in the league this season.  He will probably say post-match that Sunderland were unlucky not to get anything, and even had a few chances to win the game. #winningwithoutwinning

A gritty win but they all count.  Mark of champions?

Fantastic!

Thought we played really well from about 35 minutes onwards.

People need to chill the fuck out at half time. Be patient. The way teams are playing against us, there are going to be a lot of games that are 0-0 for a while. Have faith in the team and Klopp.

Credit to Karius. For the first time, he had an impact on the number of points we have taken from a game.

With Coutinho and Sturridge injured, Origi has a huge chance to to stamp his authority on this team and become a star.

Crystal Palace vs Swansea sounds amazing. Fuck Pardew.

Well, that match was a lot like one of those difficult post festival shits that are several days in the making, but which ends with a foot long log and a virgin wipe: Tough at first, hard work resulting in serious injury, but ultimately delightful. And, of course, both end up with a clean sheet.

Thank fuck for that. If you want to go all the way you need to be able to grind the results out like that. United were the masters of it under Fergie.

DIVOCK ORIGIIIIIII! *clap clap clap clap*

That was a hard game, but we won. Fuck yes. Hopefully Cou's injury isn't really serious (and Firmino just taken off as a precaution) because it would be devastating to lose him for a long stretch of the season. Here's hoping he's relatively fine.

Also, fuck off Moyes, you football genius ;D

Get in.

We need Lallana and Sturridge back fit as soon as possible.

Lallana should be back in a couple of games, and Sturridge just seems to have a minor injury that shouldn't keep him out for long, so that's good.

Excellent 2nd half of football - terrifically exciting, lots of noise, real sense of momentum building. Klopp is a legend.

Brilliant from Origi, Firmino and Can in the second half. It feels especially good to win these sorts of games, doesn't it?

Bus parking wankers. Bus parking wankers everywhere. We're going to get so much practice against it this season that we'll wind up being boss coming up against it.

Sunderland played very dirty...that challenge on Firmino was really bad. Can't believe there was no free kick and yellow card on that. Also can't believe that Ndong finished the game on the pitch after the penalty on Mane. He looked like the last defender who took Mane down for a clear goal-scoring opportunity (and that was a nasty challenge as well)
