funny how you acknowledge the 'petty insults' rather than the actual point.

not a problem with people being wrong, but when they just prefer to maintain total ignorance, well its a great pity.

I think you're the one 'maintaining total ignorance' seeing as the object of your infatuation has been fucking humiliated for the 2nd time this season by a manager with far more class and dignity.

Pepe went in with unnecessary force which is what made it a dirty challenge.

And I really can't see any contact:

Even if there was it was the absolute minimal and doesn't suddenly make the challenge any less dangerous. We all know what Pepe's like and he didn't simply just try to win the ball.

But do Real Madrid want his philosophy stamped into their club?

It's everything against what they're about. No doubt they view Mourinho as temporary coach where he gets Barca off their perch and a sexier coach comes along.
Everything at Madrid is done with a short term view. The word project is killing them...

Even if Mourinho did win them the Champions League this year, when he left they'd be back to the same old Madrid. They need to change the way they run the football side of things.

He picks his clubs because he's the best manager in world football you clown.
I'm not saying he is a supreme being and all that other shite you said for no reason, i disliked him big time when he was at Chelsea being a c*nt - but now he is in a neutral league i can really acknowledge how good he is, that Inter Milan side had everything.

As for where he will end up next, i'm sure he will win trophies there too.

Mourinho is like Viagra, you get 'motivated', but it works only untill your wife discover it...

Will love to see him at a club for more than 2 years...

The video's been taken down. Are you suggesting the gif has been tampered?  ???

I'd say the video had Alves' theatrics afterwards. Still, I can't understand how he's adamant on defending Pepe's challenge.

Over the ball, studs shown, had that been a grounded leg the challenge could potentially be a leg breaker. Alves milked the most of it, the shithouse he is too along with the majority of them playing tonight if it looks like I'm excusing him.

The gif isn't true, watch the ball and then watch the original video, the ball didn't even move in the same direction as the gif because Pepe touched it and it moved in the opposite direction to that shown in the gif.

not a problem with people being wrong, but when they just prefer to maintain total ignorance, well its a great pity.

The actual point you're making is delusional and makes no sense. You like him and appreciate his fuckwittery as a manager because he decides to go to the most desperate flavour-of-the-season club in Europe who'll throw their cheque books at him to win them instant glory?

Yet you didn't like him whilst at Chelsea because he was a c*nt? Same guy, same mantra but was a c*nt. However, it's all hunky dory now he isn't managing in England? He's super awesome.

So I suppose those feelings you once had for him will quickly appear the next time he's back managing in England?

Right........

I would do the same as Alves... Should I feel bad? :p

I usually like Alves but his antics this season have really put me off him. I merely thought he could be blown over with a feather to win freekicks but lately he's determined to get players booked and sent off with all his face-rubbings.

Say what you will about the events of the game, but Mourinho's comments after the game show just how much of a classless twat he is. He thinks so highly of himself that it's absolutely unimaginable that his tactics could possible ever fail. In his view, it's simply not possible to beat him on level terms, never mind that he was (reportedly) keeping the grass longer to slow down Barca's passing. Coming out after the game and stating in no uncertain terms that Barca was influencing the referees to get favorable decisions just shows he's bottom-feeding scum. If you beat his team, it couldn't possibly be because you outplayed his team or his team made a mistake, the only possible way to beat him is to pay off the officials.

It seems to me that the reason Mourinho's teams get players sent off against Barca is that he sets up his teams to defend and put in hard tackles all game- against a team with small, quick players like Barca that makes it almost certain that there's going to be at least one or two awful tackles in the match. Sure, Pepe's tackle was a debatable red in the modern game, as it could have just as well been a yellow. Still, it was a justified as a red- going in at full tilt, studs showing, well over the ball. As others have said, had it been on a standing leg, it could have easily been a double break. If you know you're playing a team who's going to make the most of rough challenges, why keep making them?

Or the very, very harsh handball called on Toure which nullified Bojan's winner?

Right........
Wrong, his Chelsea side was so good, mauling us at Anfield in the league a few times, the Carling Cup final - finger to his lips, etc.
Obviously no one likes losing and Chelsea were the best team in the league for two seasons, it irritated me.

When he went to Inter and built such a great side, which really did have everything you could want - i just thought they were incredible and i couldn't help but be drawn to him as a manager.

My point was you can really acknowlege something for what it is, when you are a neutral - only once he had left the premiership i could subjectively analyse him and his teams, making himself a hate figure takes the pressure off his side and puts it firmly on him, its clever - for me he will go down as one of the all time greats in 20 years time.

Pique's goal was offside and Motta was sent off unjustified. Milito had a one on one chance called offside in the first leg which was 90% a goal for Inter.

I have to admit, I'm like this as well.  Despised- despised- him when he was with Chelsea.  His preening on the touchline, his outrageous bravado in the media, could not stand him.  It was only when he left and I wasn't subjected to him every day that I could step back and look at the accomplishments rather than the ego, and what I saw was a man who won things wherever he went.  Regardless of the money argument (anyone could win with the money he's given/he goes into teams already built/etc.), he wins silverware for teams who have struggled to do so.  I don't have to like him to appreciate the accomplishments.

But yeah, if he comes back to England...  :no

lmao at both teams tonight. Absolutely loving it, because no-one can watch either of those teams whose a neutral and want United/Shalke to lose.

Both are horrible football teams. What an embarassment.

That pretty much confirmed what I first thought, he took his weight out of the tackle so it wasn't dangerous as such but he definitely left his foot in on the player. Definitely a yellow and to be honest I'm not that fussed about players getting a red when they are so blatant about using a bouncing ball as an excuse to leave their foot in on an opponent.

lmao at both teams tonight. Absolutely loving it, because no-one can watch either of those teams whose a neutral and want United/Shalke to lose.

Both are horrible football teams. What an embarassment.

Never had any dirty, diving, cheating c*nts in your team then?
