Negatives were plenty and plenty of that will be covered.

The referee did not help us either. Sterling going down in the box was a penalty no doubt.

As for the few positives: Lallana looked good again. He has an excellent touch.

Lambert showed decent movement and brought others into play.

Apart from that, very disappointing.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that Allen looked good too. He worked his socks off and he helped manquillo out well.

4 straight defeats, another early lead squandered, no creativity, no plan B, nothing, just nothing. Add to this a tricky away match in the CL midweek, not a good time to be Brendan Rodgers. I'm not one for encouraging, or agreeing with, a change mid-season but I wouldn't be at all surprised if Rodgers is sacked by Christmas if this isn't stopped. A real shame if it happens, but performances like this today are just not acceptable, and we've had a season full of them. Enough is enough.

Rodgers has my full backing but it's fucking bizarre - what happened to the balls he showed last season and even the one before? He reacted quickly when needed, I remember games when he would make subs before the half hour mark, he played unexpected formations and he chopped and changed when things weren't working. What the fuck happened?

A very very poor result coupled with a poor performance,Gerrard has been a world class player but this season especially he looks like he has nothing left to give,Coutinho and Sterling were dire and yet Lallana gets replaced same as Allen being replaced for Can,why?,Skrtel partly at fault for 2 goals,Mignolet was shite yet again,you know it's gonna be a bad day when Lovren isn't your worst defender.

Not 1 player can hold their head up high after that performance,disgusting

I'm a positive person but that was ddistressing to the extreme. Johnson should be on the oppositions team sheet as he does more damage than good. Our whole positioning throughout was poor... Rodgers needs to bite the bullet and look for some defending coaches or he sseriously in the shit

I'd been thinking this week that our problems couldn't just stem from the fact that we have lost (essentially), two of the most prolific attackers in the Prem this season. But it's not as if Lambert and Borini don't know where the goal is...

If there isn't some clinical changes in the personnel department this coming January, then we could very well find ourselves facing a mid-table finish.

We look clueless, we lack any real quality anywhere on the pitch and nobody really seems to know what the fuck to do... from the top down.

Where the FUCK is Lucas in games like this? The whole "Gerrard as a quarterback" was designed to release the ball quickly to Sturridge and Suarez - we had Rickie fucking Lambert up front...

Kolo Toure gave our best defensive display of the season against Madrid - not seen since. Also Rodgers needs to grow up and pop Sakho back in there...
